Alana, better known as Green Ghost and Green Ghost II, is a minor character in the 2021 Amazon series Invincible, based on the comic book series of the same name.
She was one of the original members of The Guardians of the Globe and successor to the original Green Ghost. Green Ghost ultimately met her demise when the team's ally, Omni-Man, proceeded to kill her and the others to weaken the planet for the Viltrum Empire's expansion.
She was voiced by Sonequa Martin-Green, who also portrayed Sasha Williams in The Walking Dead and Michael Burnham in Star Trek: Discovery.

Alan is an attractive young African-American woman with chin-length chocolate brown hair styled in dreadlocks. We can see her wearing yellow glasses, a light blue top, solid pink trousers, and light pink sneakers. She also has on light red lipstick.
Green Ghost[]
Her Green Ghost form is similar to her successor's, a lime-green faceless ghost-like entity. Though with obviously more feminine features.
Personality[]
Alana is portrayed as a dedicated and courageous superheroine, deeply committed to her role within the Guardians of the Globe. Her personality is marked by a strong sense of responsibility and loyalty to her team. She approaches her duties with a calm and collected demeanor, often serving as a stabilizing force in the group. Alana is quick to act in the face of danger, demonstrating bravery and selflessness, especially when protecting others.

Background[]
Not much is known of Alana's past, but she replaced the original Green Ghost's position on the Guardians of the Globe. In her civilian life, she was a photographer and happily married to a man named Theo, who was aware of her secret identity.
Invincible[]
Season One[]
Green Ghost first appears when she and the Guardians of the Globe stop the Mauler Twins at the White House. Later on, she receives a call to meet her teammates at their headquarters, but they realize it was set up before Omni-Man's arrival. With Nolan attempting to kill his former allies, the team battle him until he kills Red Rush. Upon killing Darkwing, Omni-Man throws his corpse to an invisible Alana, who, realizing her mistake, responds Oh no. and is killed by Nolan seconds later. After her death, she was buried and mourned by the rest of the world.
Season Two[]
While she doesn't physically appear, she is mentioned by her widower Theo, who is part of a therapy group formed to help widow/widowers deal with the loss of their superhero spouses.

- She is based on Jessica Cruz, one of many superheroes that goes by the name Green Lantern.
- Before the release of the Atom Eve special, it was believed that she was the gender-swapped version of the original Green Ghost. This was however disproven in the special as the original Green Ghost appears in that special, helping the other members of The Guardians of the Globe defeat the Lizard League.
- However, his role is different in the adaptation as he is no longer a team member by the time the show starts, being replaced by his successor Alana.
- Judging by her personality and appearance, she was most likely the youngest member of the original Guardians.
