Groot is a supporting character in the 2024 superhero competitive shooter game Marvel Rivals. He is a flora colossus who evolved into the warrior Groot, being a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
He is voiced by Adam Harrington, who also potrayed various counterpart of Groot.
Personality[]
Groot is a kind-hearted individual and often shares a certain personality trait of being wise and calculating to his friends. However, he is also capable of embracing anger if the life of those he cared for is threatened.
Power and Abilities[]
- Size Manipulation: Being a plant, Groot can manipulate his body to expand as large as he could in order to protect himself or his allies, or create large attacks and strikes.
- Superhuman strength: Groot is extremely durable and is capable of enduring or creating large attacks against his enemies.
- Regeneration: Groot can regenerate each time he is destroyed, as long as a part of him still exist, he can be reborn.

Trivia[]
- Upon speaking to the other characters, Groot will simply say "I am Groot". However, if talking to Emma Frost, he will speak in normal human language expressing his dears to her. This is due to Emma's telekinesis ability which allow her to understand different language.
- He work best if paired with Rocket or Jeff.
