The Guardian of Vegeta (わくせいベジータのかみ, Wakusei Bejīta no Kami^?) is a hero from Saiyan fables, being supposed to be the guardian of Planet Vegeta. He is only mentioned in the anime, in episode 20 of Dragon Ball Z.

Biography

He is mentioned when North Kaio explains to Goku the history of the Saiyans. Not much is known aboun him, only that he, as the God of Planet Vegeta, couldn't stand the evil of the Saiyan race anymore and summoned a meteor storm to destroy the Planet Vegeta along almos every Saiyan. Only Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz and Kakarot survived. Since the Guardan was in the top of a mountain of Planet Vegeta when he summoned the Meteor storm is presumed that he died too at this moment.

However, is later revealed that his participation in this fable is not true, since is revealed that in reality Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza with a supernova. Is possible that Kaio heard a false rumor since the truth of the destruction of Planet Vegeta was kept in secret by Frieza and his most loyal soldiers by the time or just that Kaio lied Goku to prevent him from knowing about Frieza and a possible confrontation between both of them. After this, it is unknown if he existed since there is no proove to affirm this.
