Gummy Bear is the protagonist in Gummibär. The Gummibär character and franchise have spawned a remarkable online presence on the Internet and consequently, a number of products have been released to capitalize on their popularity, including a market for merchandising, an animated web series titled Gummibär & Friends. In late 2005, Serbian-born music composer Christian Philipp Schneider found himself attending a restaurant located in Germany. In the Gummibär & Friends animated television series, just like Sonja Ball, Gummibär was voiced by Phillipa Alexander only in the dialogues, but yet Maci reprised his voice acting role for the songs that were written specifically for a musical sequence in each episode. Gummibär is a short, slightly overweight, anthropomorphic green gummy bear, who has a large black nose, thin dark brown eyebrows, and two large eyes with blue pupils, usually depicted as having varying sizes from each other. His muzzle appears to be light green and is usually accompanied by a carpet texture.
