Guru

Guru is the leader of the Namekians. He is the father of just about all Namekians, aside from Piccolo and Kami who had a different father. He died in the show, making the dragonballs useless. But then after he was revived, the dragon's final wish was used to bring everyone but Goku and Frieza back to Earth. 

Personality

During his screen time he is presented as a wise and beloved leader. He seemed compassionate towards not just his people but most almost anyone with the exception of those who harmed other forms of life. He wasn't egotistical as he never summoned the dragon for selfish reasons like immortality despite the fact it would of been very easy for him to make said wishes.
