Guru (Sly Cooper)

The Guru of the Stone, known colloquially as "The Guru" among the Cooper Gang, was a shaman living in the Australian outback. He was Murray's spiritual master and instructed him in the arts of the Dreamtime. After the Cooper Gang helped him clear miners out of his home, the Guru became the first individual to join the group and aid them in the Cooper Vault heist.

He was voiced by Terry Rose.

Biography[]

The Guru is an Australian koala as well as, his name implies, the aboriginal guru. He trains Murray in the art of the Dreamtime. Eventually, he joins the team after the Cooper Gang defeat the Mask of Dark Earth and clear Uluru/Ayers Rock of miners.

Abilities[]

The Guru (whose real name is unknown) is a master of the Dreamtime, a mystical art that involves using shape-shifting and mind control. He is also Murray's mentor in the arts of Dreamtime. The guru cannot attack unless he is controlling an enemy, using their weapons and controlling their movements. When he controls an enemy, they can't stop running unless they crash into something or if the Guru jumps off them. He first appears in Australia in Sly 3 when Sly and the gang go there to recruit him to their group.
