Hakua Igarashi is a minor character in the science-fiction action manga and anime series Kaiju No. 8. She is a Third Division officer of the Defense Force as well as the younger sister of Captain Jura Igarashi of the Second Division.
She is voiced by Mayuko Kazama in Japanese and by Molly Searcy in English.
Appearance[]
Hakua is a towering woman with medium-length turquoise hair parted at the back and eyes of the same colors. She typically wears her headband. As a member of the Defense Force, she wears the dark standard female soldier uniform.
Personality[]
Hakua is a strong-willed and energetic woman with great socializing skills who can be first seen quickly forming a solid friendship with two other comrades, Akari Minase and Kikoru Shinomiya. She is also a strong eater and appears to love animals, as shown when he easily got drawn onto Bakko, the pet of Captain Mina Ashiro of the Third Division.
