Hamm is the piggy bank who appears in Toy Story franchise. Hamm is a wise-cracking talking plastic piggy bank with a cork in his belly. He and Mr. Potato Head appear to be best friends, as they are often seen playing games and clapping hands with each other whenever something spectacular happens.
History
Toy Story
Hamm is used by Andy as a safe. He later comes to life with the other toys. He doesn't understand why Mr. Potato Head acts like Picasso. Hamm later meets Buzz Lightyear and is overjoyed by his act. Hamm is later in a workout with the other toys during the song, "Strange Things" and later dodging Combat Carl who explodes. That evening, Hamm tries to stop Woody thinking he murdered Buzz Lightyear. Hamm is later seen playing Battleship with Mr. Potato Head until he and the rest of the toys leave the house. After that, Hamm is later reunited in Andy's new house.
Toy Story 2
Hamm is seen in Andy's room with Rex playing a Buzz Lightyear video game. Hamm is something of a technological genius, identifying types of trash back, child lock and is the ultimate channel hopper in Toy Story 2, as he switches channels far more rapidly than the other toys can. Later, he is surprised that Woody is taken away by Al McWhiggin. Hamm and the other toys disguise themselves as cones to get to Al's store. They enter the toy barn and meet Barbie who is a tour guide. Later, he is stopped by the new Buzz Lightyear with the other toys and trying to rescue Woody. That night, they confront Buzz's archenemy Zurg. Zurg tries to kill Hamm and the other toys. However, he is hit by Rex's tail. They are able to use the Pizza Planet truck with the other toys after escaping from Zurg. In the middle of the night, Hamm and the other toys know Woody and Jessie are being shipped to Japan. They confront Stinky Pete who dislikes Buzz Lightyear. Hamm's camera stuns him and then he and the other toys return home.
Toy Story 3
Hamm later appears portraying Dr. Porkchop in the second sequel to Toy Story. He and the other toys are donated to Sunnyside. He and the other toys are attacked by the daycare's students. Hamm is later captured by Lotso's men and later helped by Buzz who is turned into a flamenco dancer. Later, Hamm and the other toys are almost incinerated in the power plant. The Little Green Men saved all of Andy's toys using an actual crane. He is later donated to Bonnie.
