Harold Monroe is the main protagonist of the extremely controversial 1980 movie Cannibal Holocaust. He is the complete opposite of Alan and is a heroic protagonist unlike Alan who was an utter monster.
He recovers the missing Alan Yates and documentary team's footage in the Amazon Basin. After seeing the footage, his goal is to prevent the footage from being shown to the public.
What he saw was horror and he tried to get executives not to show it on tv.
At the end he showed the executives the footage. The executives are convinced and they had the footage destroyed.
Monroe asked this question at the end, "I wonder who the real cannibals are?"
