Harriet is first introduced in The Scorch Trials. She was one of the leaders of Group B. She was most likely named after Harriet Tubman.
She is the best friend and fellow Right Arm member of Thomas, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, and Vince, the best friend and fellow Group B member of Aris and Sonya, the best friend and former enemy of Teresa, and the best friend and ally of Minho and Gally.
Harriet is portrayed by Nathalie Emmanuel, who also portrays Sasha Valentine in Hollyoaks, Missandei in Game of Thrones, and Ramsey in Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, F9, and Fast X, and voices Deet in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials[]
In the Scorch Trials film, the two girls from Group B sneak up on the ragtag group of Gladers, Brenda, and Jorge with Harriet holding them at gunpoint. Sonya orders the Gladers on their feet from their hiding places behind abandoned cars, but freezes when she sees Aris traveling with the group. Overjoyed, she embraces him, relieved to see him alive. The group eventually arrive at the Right Arm's relief camps, where other innocent survivors are present, and are greeted by Vince, who leads the Right Arm and is in charge of deciding whether they can stay or not. Later that evening, Teresa calls WCKD to her location, believing that WCKD's motivations are good, leading to an ambush by WCKD. Ava and Janson arrive and confront the Right Arm before WCKD troops capture survivors for experimentation, including Minho, Aris, and Sonya.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure[]
Harriet, along with Thomas, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, Vince, and the Right Arm, rescue and take Aris, Sonya, and the Immune children to their new hideout.
At night, while Harriet, along with Brenda, Jorge, Vince, Aris, Sonya, the Right Arm, and the Immune children, sleep, Thomas, Newt, and Frypan leave the hideout to go to the Last City to rescue Minho.
Sometime later, Harriet, along with Thomas, Minho, Gally, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, Vince, Aris, Sonya, the Right Arm, and the Immune children, arrive at the Safe Haven. Harriet is walking with Brenda when they both see Thomas, who has woken up, approaching them. Harriet watches on as Thomas and Minho hug. At night, at the campfire, Harriet, along with Thomas, Minho, Gally, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, Aris, Sonya, the Right Arm, and the Immune children listen to Vince give a speech.
Harriet is sitting with Minho, Gally, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, Vince, Aris, Sonya, the Right Arm, and the Immune children at the campfire when Thomas approaches them and sits down with them. The next morning, while Harriet is sleeping, Thomas goes to the memorial rock and engraves Teresa's name on it. Thomas walks along the beach, stops walking, looks at the ocean and the ship, takes out the serum, looks at it, and looks out into the distance.

In the films, Harriet has warm brown skin and is depicted with long dreadlocks that fall a little past her shoulders.

- Skilled Marksmanship & Weapon Proficiency: It was rarely shown, but Harriet is capable of wielding firearm weaponry for combat assessments. As shown in the film adaptation of The Scorch Trials, when WCKD was ambushing the Right Arm headquarters, she used her rifle to shoot at WCKD soldiers, then shot one in the leg with a pistol.

- Winchester Model 70 Rifle: In the film adaptation of The Scorch Trials, Harriet wielded this hunting rifle and used it against WCKD.
- Walther PPQ Pistol: In the film adaptation of The Scorch Trials, after Jorge gave the Right Arm an advantage to escape WCKD's attack, Harriet grabbed this small arm off a dead soldier.
- Ruger Security Six Pistol: In the film adaptation of The Death Cure, Harriet was shown holding this pistol, which she points in front of the WCKD pilot, but only to force him to surrender.
