Haru (Avatar)

Haru is a supporting character in the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender. He made his debut appearance in the episode Imprisoned, which involved him dealing with the oppression of the Fire Nation, where he had to stop Earthbending to save the village, until Katara helped him escape.

History

Haru is an adept earthbender similar to Toph who helps out Team Avatar with certain tasks. One of the main tasks being him and a majority of the Earth Nation to fight off the evil firebenders. The evil Firelord Azula and Phoenix King Ozai are being fought off by the real team Avatar who is composed of Aang, Katara, Toph, and Sokka. Team Avatar first met Haru in a village that was later found by the Fire Nation. A few years later they meet him again and officially count him and others later on as part of Team Avatar. Toph was put on the team not so long after the team met Haru.
