Haru Suzuki (鈴木 春: Suzuki Haru) is the titular protagonist of the now discontinued 2022 Roblox game Haru, and one of several protagonists of Shadows of The Yokai.
He serves as the main protagonist of The Cursed Heritage, which is based on his family's history.
He is regarded as the greatest of the now, and goes by the names, "The Golden Star, The Perfect Flame". He teaches Nikushimi a lesson, by describing multiple weaknesses she had. He had realized she was just broken.
He kills Nikushimi, but she rebirths due to her immortality, eventually changing her body back to when she was cursed by an unknown figure at 23 years old. They eventually become good friends and start hanging out more.
He is the youngest living member of The Suzuki Family, the son of, Jirou and Asami Kimura, younger brother of Jun Kimura, and great-grandson of Kenji Suzuki who was the emperor of Japan years ago.

Haru is a young adult in is 20's. Haru Suzuki in Shadows of the Yokai wants to uncover his family's mysterious past but fears that doing so might unleash dangers beyond his control.

Haru has a lean but athletic build, with a slightly toned physique that suggests he engages in light exercise. Skin tone is light olive complexion, typical of East Asian descent.
His hair is black and somewhat shaggy, with bangs that fall slightly over his eyes. His hair may have a natural, slightly messy appearance, indicating someone who doesn’t pay much attention to grooming in stressful situations.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Suzuki, in addition to his overwhelming levels of power, is also an extremely formidable martial artist in close combat, with extraordinary physical prowess to back up his skills.

Personality[]
Despite facing the ultimate fear—his own death—Haru exhibits remarkable resilience. His sudden cardiac arrest and subsequent journey through Yomi, the supernatural underworld, reveal his tenacity. He is determined to survive, find The Vitality Shard, and escape back to the land of the living. This determination drives him forward, even when faced with terrifying and seemingly insurmountable odds. Haru possesses a deep curiosity about the world around him and the mysteries it holds. This trait is a double-edged sword; while it propels him to explore the unknown and seek answers in Yomi, it also leads him into dangerous situations. His introspective nature means that he often reflects on his own life, his family legacy, and the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.

Haru's Life[]
Haru Suzuki was born into the Suzuki family, a lineage with a deep and mysterious connection to the supernatural. As the youngest living member of the family, Haru was often sheltered by his parents, Jirou and Asami, and his older sister, Jun Kimura. Despite their protective nature, they instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility and curiosity about their family’s history.
Death[]
The protagonist dies in Tokyo from a sudden cardiac arrest, a medical emergency that occurs without any prior warning or identifiable cause. Despite his apparent good health, he collapses unexpectedly and attempts to revive him fail. The cause of death is later revealed to be a rare, undiagnosed heart condition that went unnoticed due to its asymptomatic nature until it triggered a fatal episode. The heart condition is a congenital anomaly or a rare disorder that causes sudden arrhythmia or heart failure. This condition is so rare that it often goes undetected until it leads to a catastrophic event. The randomness of the heart condition reflects the unpredictability of life and death, aligning with the theme that people are chosen for Yomi by chance. When the protagonist finds himself in the tunnel leading to Yomi, he is confronted with the realization that his death, though random and devoid of any specific motive, has led him to this enigmatic realm. Yoshinobu’s explanation about the inescapability of Yomi and the randomness of who ends up there reinforces the idea that his death was part of a larger, indifferent cosmic order. The sudden cardiac arrest emphasizes the theme of randomness and the unpredictable nature of fate. It serves to underline the idea that not all events are driven by purpose or hidden motives. The protagonist’s journey to Yomi is a result of chance rather than any specific action or intention, setting the stage for his discovery of the artifact and the exploration of Yomi's mysteries.

- His surname, Suzuki (鈴木) is the second most common surname in Japan, after Satō, it means "bell wood", "bell tree" or "bud tree".
- Haru's favorite foods are confirmed to be ramen noodles and takoyaki.
- Haru favors foods that are spicy, such as wasabi, spicy ramen noodles, and so on.
- Haru is canonically male, this is confirmed by the creator, Jinxygis.
