Citrus[]
Harumi is a student of Aihara Academy who befriends Yuzu after she had stood up to the Student Council and its president Mei. Much like Yuzu, Harumi is interested in the gyaru fashion, and she often spends her time hanging out with Yuzu. Despite meeting, Harumi initially grows to deeply care for Yuzu and often is there to provide comfort for her especially when it comes to her relationship with her stepsister. Time and time again, Harumi would show her care for Yuzu to the point that she fondly prefers to herself as "Mama Harumi." She plays a pivotal moment in episode 6 of the anime when Yuzu was trying to find a way to take Mei to the airport to see her father off by giving Yuzu her bike without question.
When an old friend of Yuzu - Matsuri - arrives, Harumi immediately becomes suspicious of the young girl and her intentions. When she discovers that Matsuri works as a pseudo-camgirl, Harumi tries to convince Yuzu to leave ahead of Matsuri when they went to play karaoke. Even though nothing sensual ends up transpiring, Harumi expresses abject horror at the prospect of Yuzu being "tainted" by Matsuri. When everything between Matsuri and Mei gets resolved, Harumi slowly starts to become better acquainted with Matsuri despite still being suspicious around her. In fact, later chapters tend to tease the idea of the two possibly becoming a couple.
