Harvar D. Éclair is one of the supporting characters of the manga/anime series Soul Eater and Ox Ford's weapon partner.
He is voiced by Wataru Hatano in the Japanese version and Scott Freeman in the English version.
Appearance[]
He takes the form of a spear with a head shaped like a lightning bolt, allowing him to conjure electricity.
He wears a blue shirt with a white collared jacket as a top, coupled with white pants and black shoes.
Personality[]
Harvar is a studious person along with his partner, Ox, is similarly academic, and also seems to share his partner's expertise over chess. He likes working hard and training, and dislikes resting, saying that it makes him bored. Like his partner, Harvar likes inputting logical thinking in all situations. Similarly, he also has pride in his ability, calling himself 'the Lightning Spear' at one point, similar to how Ox calls himself 'the Lightning King.'
He is extremely prejudice against witches, not even considering Kim had been brainwashed into being evil as the reason she joined Arachnophobia; outright giving her a fatal gut stab wound without a second thought, much to Ox's horror. If it wasnt for Kim's magic being regenerative, she would have died. Harvar does lighten up when Angela was adopted by the DWMA after Mifune died in combat with Blackstar
