Hasumi Hanekawa (羽川ハスミ in Japanese) is one of the characters of the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Trinity General School and wields a Sniper Rifle, and is one of the characters of the 2024 Anime Adaptation of the same name. She is the vice president of the Justice Realization Committee (or Justice Task Force/JTF), a club that upholds justice and prevents crimes in Trinity. Despite being vice president, Hasumi handles most if not all the presidential work due to the terrifying and violent characteristics of the club's president, Tsurugi Kenzaki.
She appeared as a supporting protagonist during the first, third, and fourth chapters of the third volume of the main story, the "Treaty of Eden", and during the second chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin". In the side stories, she appeared as one of the main protagonists of the "Get Set, Go! Kivotos Halo Games" event and as a misunderstood antagonist during the "A Cathedral Christmas" event.
Personality[]
The responsible vice president of the Justice Task Force, Hasumi is an exemplary student who boasts great strength with a sense of justice. She appears as a composed and intellectual student, replacing the club's president during important matters outside the battlefield due to her violent and explosive nature. However, behind her composure is a woman who's afraid of gaining weight despite having a love for eating sweet food. She would occasionally behave recklessly, especially when someone refers to her weight or calls her fat in any way.

This is the outfit Hasumi wore during the "Get Set, Go! Kivotos Halo Games!" side event, where she was tasked to work as part of the Executive Committee of the Kivotos Halo Games, a biannual large-scale event where all schools have friendly competition, on behalf of Trinity. During her time there though, she had a bit of a fight with another Executive Committee member who happened to be from Gehenna Academy, Trinity's enemy, named Ako Amau. Additionally, she seemed to be tempted by the numerous different foods being sold there.
