Hayato Suo is a tritagonist of the action delinquent anime and manga series Wind Breaker. He is a Furin High School first-year student, a Vaisravana Unit member of Bofurin, and one of the vice-captains alongside Akihiko Nirei. He is one of the five strongest first-years.
He was voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki in Japanese and Dallas Reid in English.
Appearance[]
Suo is a young boy with curtained brown-colored hair and orange brown-colored eyes. He typically wears his black eyepatch that covers his right eyes, whom he jokingly claims to have a Chinese dragon sealed in it. His ears wear earrings comprised each of red beads with long yellow tassels hanging reaching his shoulders. He wears the black standard Bofurin student attire with green emerald-colored collars and culls with yellow accents and triangular-patterns. As a martial artist, he wears a white traditional Chinese martial art uniform under along with black trousers and a pair of black martial art shoes.

Suo portrays himself as a friendly and calm man, typically caring a friendly expression, under any circumstances. He is also calculating and analytical, navigating interpersonal dynamics with finesse, carefully tailoring his reactions to negotiate with others in the moral way, whether in conflict or camaraderie. His demeanor exudes an air of aristocracy, characterized by refinement without a hint of superiority. In combat, Suo's fighting style mirrors his persona, eschewing fists in favor of precise palm strikes, a testament to his martial arts prowess and the alignment of his technique with his personality.
