He-Man is the deuteragonist of Masters of the Universe: Revelation and the main protagonist of its sequel series Masters of the Universe: Revolution. He is the magical-persona of Prince Adam.
He is voiced by Chris Wood.
Personality[]
Adam is quick to see the good in everyone, even granting Skeletor the Power of Grayskull to assist in fighting the empowered Evil-Lyn, in the hopes that he'd 'see what it feels like to save the universe', but is just as quick to punt him over the horizon when this turns out to have been misguided. Likewise, he is very humble that even in Preternia where he's allowed to pick the ideal body for himself, he chooses to continue living as his normal teenaged self. He's noted to be the only person to have done this.
Duncan notes that this was precisely the quality that made him worthy to be He-Man, as he always returned the power the moment he was done with it. In general, Adam has both the strength and the heart of a hero. When they meet again in Preternia, Adam reacts with confusion and concern rather than defensiveness at Teela's anger towards him (over him hiding his identity as He-Man from her). Even though Adam is the one who suffered worse (having died), he cares just as much about helping Teela through her grief.
Overview[]
The crown prince of Eternia and heir to the throne, Prince Adam has lived a secret double life acting as the clueless son of the king and queen while secretly defending the realm as He-Man.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Champion Empowerment: The war-cry with which Prince Adam thus transforms while holding the Power Sword above his head with his right hand begins, "By the power of Grayskull...." whereupon mystical lightning strikes the Power Sword and transforms him to; He-Man then seizes the tip of the Power Sword's blade and completes the war-cry, "...I HAVE THE POWER!!!".
- Super-Strength: He-Man's main power is immense super-human strength. While the upper limit of He-man's strength is unknown, he is at least a class 100 (meaning he is at least able to lift a 100 tons). Using only strength He-man has lifted Castle Grey Skull, prevented Hordak's ship from achieving escape velocity and leaving Eternia's orbit and, when it was out of it's normal orbit, he pushed the Eternia's moon back in its rightful place orbiting Eternia. He-Man has easily moved mountains crushed diamond, thrown objects out of orbit and made a little crack in Eternia meters wide.
- Super-Leaping
- Super Speed & Reflexes: He-man has proven to be extremely fast and acrobatic, he has made whirl winds with his speed while running in a circle (proving he can run at least 400 MPH). He has also rubbed sand in his hands so fast he turned it into glass, spun his sword so fast in a circle he was able to generate lift and, thus, fly.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: He-man is virtually indestructible; His body possesses a high degree of resistance to physical bodily harm. He is invincible and can easily withstand great impacts forces, blunt force trauma, falls from great heights, flames and survive powerful energy blasts that would severely injure or kill a human being cause him no damage whatsoever.
- Superhuman Agility: His physical prowess is not limited to strength, however, and he is also depicted as being extremely agile and acrobatic. He was able to dodge multiple energy magic blast from Skeletor while in mid-air.
- Superhuman Stamina: He-man's stamina and endurance is unbelievably high being able to exert himself for long periods of time without tiring or showing signs of fatigue.
