Hector P. Valenti is the overarching protagonist of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. He is an entertainer of stage and screen, hoping to be famous. He later adopts a singing crocodile named Lyle and attempts to use the crocodile's talent to make a fortune.
He is played by Javier Bardem, who also played Stilgar in Dune (2021) and its 2024 sequel and King Triton in the live-action remake of Disney's The Little Mermaid.
