Herlock Sholmes is one of the two overarching protagonists in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (along with Yujin Mikotoba). He is a famous British detective upon whom the "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" stories are based, and he becomes acquainted with the young Japanese exchange student/defense attorney, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, whom he helps solve various cases.
He lives with Iris Wilson, daughter of the late Klint van Zieks at 221B Baker Street.
Personality[]
Unlike typical depictions of Sherlock Holmes which depict him as being almost always right with his rapid abductive reasoning, he is almost never right and often leaps to the wrong conclusion. However despite being wrong most of the time, he is by no means an idiot. His conclusions are derived from flawless logic, however they tend to be based upon a false premise (in fact, most of his conclusions and reasonings are taken directly from "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" canon, but just made to be wrong in the games' context). In this sense he tends to see reasoning and logic as an art of sorts, stating "it doesn't matter if you're wrong or right".
