The Hero of Men is the overarching protagonist of the 2004 action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
He was an adventurer hailing from the time when Hyrule was in its early development and has managed to save it from a powerful monster that threatened the land.
History[]
When Hyrule was in the earliest stages of establishment, there came the age when numerous powerful beasts came to be and began to beseige the developing kingdom. Before the kingdom would be met with its ultimate doom, the Minish, later to be referred to as the Picori, descended from the sky and bestowed the Hero of Men the Picori Blade and the Light Force. With these in his possession, the Hero of Men then destroyed the monsters and managed to drive off the darkness. The Hero of Men then imprisoned the realm's darkness away into the Bound Chest and locking it with the Picori Sword, therefore bringing peace to Hyrule and allowing it to be fully established in the future.
