Nominations for articles to be featured on the front page.

Guidelines

• Nominations must be at the very least 350 words long.
• An article is featured every month, or at the admins' discretion.
• Whichever article has the most votes at the end of the month is featured for a month.
  • Each downvote counts as a point down for the nominee.
  • In case of a tie, the one with fewer downvotes wins.
• Admin votes carry the same weight as regular users' votes.
• All nominations and votes must be signed with four tildes (~~~~). Unsigned nominations and votes will be nullified.
• Nominations and votes CANNOT BE CHANGED. Each user can only vote ONCE, for and against.
• An article cannot be nominated twice in a row (if an article was nominated in the previous voting, it cannot be nominated again in the current one).
• Users cannot nominate articles two months in a row.
• Only five nominations max for every monthly voting are allowed. Any nomination surpassing this limit will be automatically disqualified.
• CHEATING WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED. Any user who starts downvoting candidates just to rig the results or go asking other users to vote on his candidate will receive a warning and, in case of reincidence, a one month ban. No exceptions.
• The use of sockpuppets in HFH is extremely forbidden, resulting in the permanent ban of the sockpuppet's account(s) and in the deletion of your nominated hero.
• Once the vote was posted, there is no turning back to edit the description of your vote. If you voted against a candidate for a trivial reason and had your vote discarded by an admin, it will be forbidden to go back and edit the reason of your vote to make your denied vote valid again. Doing so will result in a week ban, NO exceptions.
• There is a limit for how many times a hero can be nominated in a period of time. If a candidate is downvoted but still being brought to HFH more than once in the following months, the limit is 3 attempts. If a hero is downvoted 3 times, the hero can not be proposed again until 12 months has passed after the last proposal. Bringing the hero back before then is a violation of this rule and the candidate will be erased from the nominations. For this limit to reset, the hero must not be proposed for 12 months after the last proposal.

Suggestions

• Be original and creative with the nominations.
• Don't vote against a hero if you haven't read the article about it yet.
• Don't vote against a hero just because you know nothing about him/her/it.
• Don't say anything that may be offensive to another.
• If you're going to vote against, present an actual argument for your reasoning. "He's/She’s boring", He’s/She’s Overrated" or "I don't like him/her" aren't arguments.

Comments	For the Halloween season this year, let's have one of horror's most iconic protagonists as a HFH. Also fitting, seeing how a documentary on the series as well as a Blu-Ray dual-pack were released this year, in addition to a new film he announced. Don't know much about him but how he looks and is peeks my interest of headlining him. I understand if the Halloween will start in October so Ash will ready to slay the evil! Definitely one of the coolest characters in horror movie history, and an interesting portrayal of a man dealing with the darkness of his past.

Comments	Who better than a half demon and half human to be the headlined hero for the month of October? Ah, i remembered watching Teen Titans back in the old days before GO! brought disgrace to it. But to further more reason, I'd think for this Halloween coming up next month, maybe Raven show take the spotlight and be headline as either "Halloween's Queen", but another reason why is because back there she had such a great character development and clearly one of the best DC characters in my book.

Comments	How's about a character from a promising web series about a fitting setting for the Halloween season? She's a real demon, and Hazbin Hotel celebrates it's first anniversary this upcoming month.

Comments	I think it'd be awesome if one of the most popular superheroes in Marvel like Spidey be headlined. Yeah! Why not? He is a beloved Marvel hero. Agreed. I'd like to see one of my favorite heroes like him to be headlined. While I do love Spider-Man, he doesn't fit the Halloween season all that well besides being themed after spiders, but even then, his general chipper attitude doesn't completely sync up with scarier elements of the month. Besides, we do already got plenty of Marvel HFHs already. I'm ok with more Marvel HFHs, but give the other guys a chance, eh?

Comments	The Death Note series in particular has always been associated with the themes of death and shinigami, which I think fits for October. L in particular himself is a rather creepy looking character, not only that, but he's one of the most interesting characters you'll come across when it comes to reading shonen material.
