Nominations for articles to be featured on the front page.

Guidelines

  • Nominations must be at the very least 350 words long.
  • An article is featured every month, or at the admins' discretion.
  • Whichever article has the most votes at the end of the month is featured for a month.
    • Each downvote counts as a point down for the nominee.
    • In case of a tie, the one with fewer downvotes wins.
  • Admin votes carry the same weight as regular users' votes.
  • All nominations and votes must be signed with four tildes (~~~~). Unsigned nominations and votes will be nullified.
  • Nominations and votes CANNOT BE CHANGED. Each user can only vote ONCE, for and against.
  • An article cannot be nominated twice in a row (if an article was nominated in the previous voting, it cannot be nominated again in the current one).
  • Users cannot nominate articles two months in a row.
  • Only five nominations max for every monthly voting are allowed. Any nomination surpassing this limit will be automatically disqualified.
  • CHEATING WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED. Any user who starts downvoting candidates just to rig the results or go asking other users to vote on his candidate will receive a warning and, in case of reincidence, a one month ban. No exceptions.
  • The use of sockpuppets in HFH is extremely forbidden, resulting in the permanent ban of the sockpuppet's account(s) and in the deletion of your nominated hero.
  • Once the vote was posted, there is no turning back to edit the description of your vote. If you voted against a candidate for a trivial reason and had your vote discarded by an admin, it will be forbidden to go back and edit the reason of your vote to make your denied vote valid again. Doing so will result in a week ban, NO exceptions.
  • There is a limit for how many times a hero can be nominated in a period of time. If a candidate is downvoted but still being brought to HFH more than once in the following months, the limit is 3 attempts. If a hero is downvoted 3 times, the hero can not be proposed again until 12 months has passed after the last proposal. Bringing the hero back before then is a violation of this rule and the candidate will be erased from the nominations. For this limit to reset, the hero must not be proposed for 12 months after the last proposal.

Suggestions

  • Be original and creative with the nominations.
  • Don't vote against a hero if you haven't read the article about it yet.
  • Don't vote against a hero just because you know nothing about him/her/it.
  • Don't say anything that may be offensive to another.
  • If you're going to vote against, present an actual argument for your reasoning. "He's/She’s boring", He’s/She’s Overrated" or "I don't like him/her" aren't arguments.

The correct nomination format is as follows:

  • nomination ~~~~

  • (if anyone votes against:) against reasons for against ~~~~

  • In my opinion and facts but to be clear if there is anything the Heroes Wiki never had in their headlined heroes before is that there was never a Tokusatsu hero headlined before. So in honors of doing so, I'd like to nominate Ultraman Mebius as the perfect candidate to be headline, after all some tokusatsu heroes whom were either declared underrated or never heard of from us people from different places deserves a chance to be given the opportunity to know that they exist to do good for us in the world. Mebius has been a childhood of mine since the day 2006 began. after 14 years of his existence of serving earth during his period. I think it is safe to say that a good person like him deserves the chance to be known for his heroism, may Mebius be forever in everyone's hearts.
  • Let's have this Ultraman hero to be the first one to be headlined.
  • To be honest about this Ultraman, Mebius can defeat any of the evil kaijus (Including Alien Empera) that invade the world, and it soars into Mirai Hibino's heart.

Klaymen

  • Klaymen and the game Neverhood are very underrated, also i haven't seen a claymation character headlined, i wanna see him headlined.

John Coffey

  • A tragic magic man with a heart of gold. No particularly special reason I chose John Coffey, other than I love his character, especially with Michael Clarke Duncan bringing him to life. God’s greatest miracle should be in the limelight.

Lucas (Mother 3)

Ness would be a far better candidate.

  • Perhaps one of the most interesting heroes I have ever seen. A getaway driver who one day meets a woman and her son and we get to see that he is a good-natured person and when her husband is released and is killed during a heist, he protects Irene and Benicio from the mafia, real human being! The whole story of Drive is somewhat of a reference to the fable The Scorpion and the Frog. The Driver is the frog as he 'carries' the criminals (the scorpion) in his car, but getting 'stung' as in he is trapped in his criminal life and wants to escape.
  • This movie and its protagonist are both criminally underrated. The Driver is such a fascinating and complex character, and hr deserves to be headlined.
