Biography[]
Early Life[]
Heron was born to Zeus, the king of gods, and Electra, a mortal woman and the queen of Corinth, but he was rumored not to be the king after it's then tyrant Periander, because Heron was destined to die upon his birth. On the day of the birth of his half-brother, the real destined heir to Corinth, this saved Heron from an untimely death, but his mother was soon attacked by angry guards, fortunately he and his mother were saved by Zeus when he personally appeared & fought off the guards.
However, not wanting them to feel the wrath of his angry wife Hera (a fact not helped with all the other times he cheated on her), Zeus took him and Electra far away from any land of Greece where they would live high atop a mountain overlooking a small village, and to further ensure Hera wouldn't find them, he covered the village in storm clouds to protect Heron and Electra from her gaze. These clouds would never leave the village skies ever since, but because of this, it resulted in the villagers' ostracism of them, as they believed Electra and Heron to be the cause of this seemingly bad omen.
Throughout his life in the village, Heron did his best to care for his mother, never knowing who his real father was, though at some point, he got into a struggle with a group of boys that ended up giving him a permanent scar over his left eye. Regardless, Heron would continue to make the most of his situation with some assistance from a nice man named Elias, never knowing that one day the fates would give him a journey that would change the universe forever.
Season 1[]
A Call to Arms[]
One day after finishing up his job as a miner, Heron finds himself getting attacked by a strange creature were he runs into a female warrior named Alexia, who informs them that she is looking for a creature called a demon, though the townspeople deny seeing any and she continues on her way. as he heads back home Heron sees Elias had injured his leg and helps him out by getting some water to clean the wound; however, he sees a dead woman in the fountain and is then attacked by a demon. The demon attacked him, but Alexia returns and starts fighting him. In a pinch, Heron helps her, slicing it with his arrow, but the demon manages to escape.
Heron wonders how such a thing could exist, and Elias tells him about the war with the giants. He tells him how the gods defeated the Titans, but as the last titan fell, he swore a curse on the gods, and when his blood struck the sea, the giants were born. The war between the giants and gods continued as neither could conquer the other. Until one day, Zeus convinces two giants to take up arms with them, and in a final battle against the giants, with the two giants' help, the gods defeated them. Hermes was then ordered to gather their souls & put them into a special cauldron while the giant's bodies were cast into the ocean. Hephaestus then forged a grand automation named Talos to stand guard over the Cauldron with the souls so that they could never return. Ages pass, and one day, a giant's body is cast ashore which was found by a man, and upon touching it, he starts to be poisoned by the evil, and eventually other men join him, and they eat the giant flesh, turning into the demons today.
In the morning, Alexia tells Heron that he fought bravely and invites him to join her in the fight against demons and protect the town, to which he declines as he has no such desire as they had forsaken him and his mother. Heron wants to leave, but his mother tells him they can't and tries to tell him who his real father is. However, at that moment, people from the town come wanting to test if Electra is a demon. Heron starts fighting them, but as they overwhelm him, Electra burns her arm to prove that she isn't a demon.
Seeing Alexia leaving, Heron states that he should have gone with her. Elias tells him that war is upon them, and they need to prepare. He tells him to climb the mountain, and there he will find a rose bush, and underneath it, there is an adamantine ore from which they will make him a sword like no other.
Past is Prologue[]
During a dream Heron's having, Electra gives birth to a boy. King Periander comes and is happy to see it's a boy and has his eyes. Ariana informs him a second child is coming, and it's another boy. She explains there are two placentas, which means there are two fathers. Seeing the boy having blue eyes, Periander is angry and attempts to kill the boy, but an eagle storms in and saves it.
Heron then wakes up and continues climbing, reaching the mountain's top and seeing a blue rose bush. He starts digging and takes the ore back to Elias. Heron tells Elias he had seen a symbol of two winged horses rearing up and meeting in the middle. Elias tells him that it is the Seal of Corinth and that dreams can be deceiving. He explains that there are three Oneiroi, nightmares brought by Phobetor, illusions meant to deceive and confuse, and visions of the truth brought forth by Morpheus.
Heron tells Electra that he had a dream in which she was a queen. Electra confirms she used to be married to King Periander, but they had to leave. She explains that the marriage was prearranged, and not long after she married the king, she caught a god's eye. Elias confronts Heron and reveals his true form of Zeus. He wants Heron to forgive him for everything; however, Heron tells him that he doesn't even want to see him again, and Zeus leaves.
The Raid[]
Immediately after this though, Heron and Alexia fight a three-headed dog and kill one of the heads, but this proves to be the least of their problems as legions of demons attack them, and they run towards the town. Heron tells them they can escape using the mines and heads to look for his mother. However he soon caught the attention of the demons' leader and makes himself known to him by throwing a special Bident in his direction.
however, Zeus speaks to Heron and warns him to stop, avoiding the spear. Zeus tells Heron to run, but Heron starts shooting arrows at the demon. As he is about to be killed again, Zeus helps him again and this time, Heron listens and runs off to find where his mother is.
Heading out farther outside the village, Heron sees the demons, along with their boss known as Seraphim, have surrounded his mother and rushes in to rescue her, despite successfully beating down the demons attacking him he is easily beaten by Seraphim. Seeing the hatred in Heron's eyes, Seraphim tells him he has nothing left and will either join them or die and to further his despair, he then kills Electra right in front of him and takes Heron captive to one of his camps.
A Monster is Born[]
Hermes asks Electra if there is someone she wants to see before she crosses over, and she states it's Heron. She appears before Heron, who is locked in a cage with other captured humans, telling him that there are fates worse than death, and bids farewell.
Heron wakes up and finds himself loaded on a caravan with other prisoners. He wonders where Seraphim is, but a man tells him that the last he heard is that he was after Alexia.
Escape or Die[]
A little while later, Heron and the prisoners he was captured with are taken to one of the demon army's galley ships where they are forced to row it, on the ship he is introduced to two new acquaintances: Evios a common thief, and his accomplice an Olympic player named Kofi. After getting to know them Heron comes up with a plan to get out.
The plan starts by asking Kofi and Evios to cause a small commotion on who would use the toilet first and then push themselves into the guard and steal his keys. As they do, they free themselves and kill the guards below deck, at this point they free Heron and the other prisoners as well.
With everyone free of their chains Heron leads everyone to go on top, by nightfall Heron and his newfound co. kill the remaining demons on board, and completely take over the ship. However upon seeing another ship under the demon's control coming towards them, they ram their ship into the other one and sink it.
Unfortunately this victory is short-lived when Heron sees Seraphim coming to deal with this problem... and he's now wielding the very same sword that was meant for him, and he proves just how powerful it is by easily slicing the ship's mast in-half, regardless Heron is more than ready to settle the score with him and charges straight towards him.But before he can make contact with him Zeus blasts the ship, destroying it with its lighting. He then hits the sea with lighting, causing waves to prevent Seraphim from killing Heron.
Back to Olympus[]
After that very intense boat escape, Heron washes up on the nearest shore where he is reunited with Alexia who then introduces her to Evios & Kofi before once again meeting Zeus disguised as Elias, despite his insistence that he doesn't need his father's help, Zeus reveals to him that he is the key in this war and wants to help him. This is enough for Heron to except Zeus' help and the thunder king calls down a griffin to be his ride, before transforming into an eagle & flying off, he then mounts on the griffin while wishing his mortal allies good luck and he flies off following his father.
Flying across the plains of Greece and at first struggling to hang on tight, Heron eventually begins enjoying the flight as he and the griffin follow Zeus all the way to the top of Mount Olympus, home of the gods, the gods start to whisper that Heron is Zeus' bastard son and are unhappy; however, Hermes, then Apollo and Artemis welcome him. Hera arrives angry that he brought Heron, and Zeus explains that the war, the demons, and everything is his fault. He promises to remain faithful to her and asks for forgiveness, and Hera is willing to accept it only if Heron dies. As he can't do that, which enrages her as she takes the other gods and leaves.
The following morning, Heron gears himself up with armor and begins his training to unleash the godliness inside him, meeting his father in an arena, Zeus explains that not all demigods have divine power and they need to find out if he does, Heron then starts off by engaging one of Hephaestus' automatons, Zeus tries to teach him that strength and anger won't help him win, but Heron cannot do anything with that and loses fight after fight.
Zeus visits Heron, telling him that he barely knew his father and wasn't raised by him. Instead, his father wanted him dead, and by the time he met him, he had to kill him to save his siblings. Zeus explains that he is great at many things, but being a father isn't one of them. Heron tries to fight the automaton the next day but is again easily defeated. Zeus tells him to let his anger turn inward, but Heron can't do it and asks why Zeus didn't save Electra and let Seraphim live. Zeus explains that, at times, he is powerless and won't kill Seraphim, as Electra wouldn't want it since he is also her son and Heron's half-brother.
Heron sees an opening in the automation and defeats it. Hermes arrives, informing Zeus that Hera and the other gods are in the Underworld; however, Hades remains neutral but is willing to accept any god who seeks refuge. Heron sees a spider on his hand, and Zeus realizes that the Fates are calling him, when he asks Zeus if he can undo what has been done to Seraphim and confirms that it must be Seraphim's choice.
Heron enters to see the Fates; he tells them that he doesn't believe in fate, but in free will, and they explain free will and fate can coexist. They also explain that the fate of many will depend on his actions and show him a bit of what lies ahead. He sees Alexia and the others dying in the Fields of the Dead and realizes they need his help and with approval of Zeus, he hops on his Griffin to aid them.
The Fields of the Dead[]
Racing to where his friends are, Heron arrives in the battlefield where the original battle between the gods and the giants took place, and where one of the giant's bodies remain intact, which they must burn to ensure all the demons die. Flying across the mist that inflicts anyone with deadly hallucinations, he arrives just in time to find his friends as they're being attacked by an angry Satyr by shooting his arrows at his head, and after regrouping with them, they head into the cave to destroy the body.
Entering the Labyrinth that leads to the bodies and navigating through its deadly path, Heron and co. finally make it to where the bodies are so they can burn it down. Unfortunately by the time they make it they find it completely moved... with a demon army & Seraphim (having just found out their mortal uncle was alive & killed him because he wanted his father's throne) awaiting their arrival.
However, instead of attacking Seraphim, also having found out that he & Heron are half-brothers (as well as being really furious that he unnkowingly killed their mother), climbs down to admit that he's become tired of being Hera's stooge and makes his brother an offer: join him so they can end the gods' reign as payback for what they've done to them or be left at his mercy. Despite it being tempting Heron, having just gotten to know his father a little better, reneges on this offer as he firmly tells his brother they are indeed on opposing sides.
Enraged by this, Seraphim prepares to attack him with his sword but before he can, Heron aims his arrows at his arm and shoots it right out of his hand before he can use it. At this sight his angry brother orders his army to attack him and his party, leading to him and Alexia, Evios, and Kofi to escape the cave, at which point he calls forth his Griffin to fly them all (while carrying an annoyed Kofi) back to Olympus to think of a new plan.
Making it back to Olympus on time, Heron meets up with his father where he senses things going from bad to even worse matters: Under orders from his angry wife, a furious Seraphim flies to where a special Cauldron containing the giants souls are being kept and after killing it's guardian, he takes it. But just as the worse matter couldn't even more worse, Hermes returns to them before he's revealed to Hera in disguise, at this point she stabs him through the neck before escaping to do even more damage, leaving a shocked Heron unsure what to do now.
War for Olympus[]
Just as it looked like it was going to be the end for Zeus, Heron's fears are easily dashed as his father uses a bolt of lightning to heal his wound just as Poseidon, having realized that Hera's quest for revenge has gone too far, comes back with an injured Apollo to Olympus to help them. Poseidon reveals that Hera's opened the seal of the cauldron to allow the giants souls to enter their bodies once again to destroy Zeus & the gods on his side, and while he doesn't know where the Cauldron is, he guesses it might be in a caravan of Maroon wagons behind their army.
With this information Zeus explains to everyone his plan: keep Hera's forces locked on them while they send someone behind to find the Cauldron and seal up the giants souls once again so they can destroy their bodies for good. But while Hermes volunteers to find it Heron, determined to not let the universe fall into Chaos & knowing Hera will expect him coming, volunteers to get it, Something Zeus willingly allows him to.
With the plan all set in motion, Heron and everyone on Olympus prepares for the giants & Hera's arrival, with him and his mortal allies equip themselves with divine weaponry to better their chances in the fight. Just as they find their weapons of choice, the enemies make it to the foot of Olympus to destroy them, at which point Evios reveals that he & Kofi found & sold them a giant's bodies, to which Heron reminds them today's the day to redeem themselves for it.
At his father's command, both supernatural side clash on all sides as Zeus lets Heron know it's time for him and his human allies to get the Cauldron, as well as the time to show everyone around him just who he is. Climbing inside metal balls to make it look like fireballs, Heron and co. fly across the battlefield and make it to Hera's back lines to get the Cauldron, but gets a warning from his father that the giants have begun breaching Olympus, forcing him hasten & his allies to hasten their efforts to get the Cauldron.
Taking down all the guards stationed at the wagons, Heron and his friends break open all the wagons there, but realize the Cauldron isn't in any of them, but upon seeing that he shot down two of his god half-mothers crows, makes him realize just where she kept the Cauldron: guarded by her flock of crows. Calling for his griffin, Heron flies up to get it and shooting his arrows, kills enough crows to send the Cauldron falling down, but this acts once again seen by Seraphim and he shoots down his half-brother's mount to grab the Cauldron, but as he does this both him & his brother watch Zeus & Hera clash which ends with the giant's leader Porphyrion turning on Hera, leading to Zeus sacrifice himself for her.
With Zeus out of the way a remorseful Hera realizes her mistakes, which also leaves Seraphim to take the Cauldron to allow the Giants to kill every god on the battlefield, fortunately for Heron, with his friends aid they are able to knock Seraphim off his mount and allowing him to take back the Cauldron. But still furious over his father's death, he once again engages his half-brother in a fist fight, which forces Seraphim to call his forever-bound bident to kill him for good behind him, as a now tired Heron struggles to keep the Bident from piercing his heart, he remembers his father's advice about real power coming to those who are calm, something he decides to take to heart and willingly lets the Bident pierce his body... so he can let his half-brother (who was behind him) get pierced by his own weapon as well.
Shocked by this intention a now-wounded Seraphim quickly opts to make his weapon leave both their bodies which allows Heron to pin by the back of a rock and with the choice of allegiances echoing in his mind, Heron scares his brother even more by unlocking his divine powers but doing what no child of Zeus had ever done before... call down his father's lightning powers and blasting the demon leader with it so much that it finally kills him. However as he lays his now-dead brother's body over his shoulders, Heron finds himself under attacked by a gravely injured Porphyrion, looking to where he had placed the Cauldron an equally exhausted Heron barely manages to grab it before Porphyrion can crush him, activating it to once again capture the giants' souls before more damage could be done, though while successful he passes out in exhaustion.
With the Giants once again no longer a problem and Mount Olympus slowly being repaired, Heron wakes up a few weeks later to be congratulated by his fellow god brothers. To show a token of their gratitude for his heroic endeavors against the Giants, Heron is given a special medallion bearing his father's symbol before being reunited with his friends.
Season 2[]
A Shadow Emerges[]
As it was revealed during the civil war between Hera and Zeus, after facing off against Seraphim, once again containing the giants' souls and passing out in great exhaustion, as he was carried by Hermes to treat his injuries back on Olympus. Heron is telepathically called by the primordial grandmother of the Gods herself Gaia with disturbing news for him.
Even though that he had stopped another Gigantomachy from tearing the world apart, he is warned that a looming war is on the horizon and that if he ever hopes to stop it from tearing the universe apart, must do two things: retrieve the Admantite Sword and save his brother. Confused by Gaia's message, Heron then falls off Hermes' back and loses consciousness.
Winter is Born[]
Heron visits Hephaestus in his workshop, and after admitting that he seeks the Adamantium Sword their father forged for him. Hephaestus equips him with a compass that'll allow him to track it so long as he could retrieve a piece of the same Adamantium used to forge the sword. However in doing so, he warns his younger brother that the last time the sword was seen, it was still lodged inside the head of the cauldron's guardian, which as a result has gone completely out of control.
Later that day, Hephaestus and Heron would join Apollo by one of the balconies that view the lower lands and see the visitors coming from all over Greece to either saying their goodbyes or see the confirmation about Zeus' death. Apollo would then assure Heron that the temples of their late father would be built in his honor on Earth.
Funeral Games[]
Unfortunately, once night fell, Heron has a dream where he uses Hephaestus' compass to search for his sword, but the appearance of a spider interrupts it, and the Fates appear before him and to his horror, they warn him that someone has entered their domain and severed his thread of fate, and now he's destined to die in the next quarter moon of the winter solstice. Artemis and Athena would talk about this. Kofi, Evios, and Alexia approach the distraught Heron and ask if he's okay. He seemingly says yes and notes his plans to depart the next day.
The next day, Heron and co. visited the arena where a series of competitions were to be held for Zeus' honor, and his ring was the grand prize, Athena had proposed Heron should participate in it, but he refused and claimed it'd be better for Athena than him. But before Heron and his pals could leave, Ares (who has begun trying to convince others that he should take Zeus' place as ruler of the gods & heaven) and Aphrodite arrive and after a scuffle between Heron and Ares, the lord of the underworld Hades arrives and suggest they settle their differences in the games. Heron accepts that proposal, and although he loses to Ares in the disk throwing and spear tossing matches, he evenly matches with him in the archery.
But then things get really intense when they both compete in the games most brutal event: the boxing match, Heron unlocks the lightning ability inherited from Zeus, and right when he is at Ares' mercy, Hera appears and stops the match. As Athena, Artemis, and Apollo argue that Hera needs to leave while Ares and Aphrodite side with Hera, Alexia takes Heron away.
Soon afterwards, Gaia herself appears with a message in the will of both Zeus & herself: they will mourn Zeus and the fallen for three days which no God will take up arms against each other but when that time is up, a new and more bigger challenge will begin where anyone, God or not, are allowed to compete, the winner is the one who finds & obtains the great Elusinian stone, the stone that gave Zeus the right to rule the skies. But the real eye-opener for everyone is that whoever obtains the Stone will not only become Zeus' successor as master of the heavens, but will by default become the next ruler over all the cosmos leaving everyone, Heron and his pals included, in awe before she leaves Olympus to make their respects to Zeus.
Afterward in the evening, Heron takes part in Zeus' funeral, and when Hermes abstracts Zeus' soul from his crown fragment, Zeus thanks his children and notes his desire to have Heron inherit his ring. On the other hand, Heron doesn't consider himself worthy of having it, but Zeus believes contrary to it. After Hermes takes Zeus' soul to the Underworld, he tells his friends that Gaia told him to search for the Adamantium Sword and save his brother.
Judgement Day[]
Following the games, Heron and his friends ride on Pegasuses to his hometown and visit his home, where Heron locates a secret plate that opened after Heron used a ring he found there on it. Without hesitation, Heron leaped into it, and after navigating through the tunnels, he found a pillar that contained Zeus' knowledge, which foresaw his untimely demise. Zeus had Heron recite an old poem he once told him, believing he was the prophesized one who would stop the evil that no one ever speaks of when it returned. However, Heron is uncertain of that notion.
Exiting the tunnel, Heron mentions to Alexia how he must fetch a piece of adamantite from the mountain from which it originated. They then hear Evios, who had found some mutilated corpses not far from his home. Hermes then appears and claims that it was Keres that killed them, despite them only eating the flesh of the dead. It was thanks to Zeus' death that they began eating the living. Hermes also informs Evios about a lady he knows, and because of a disagreement with the group, he part ways with them to find her.
Crossing Paths[]
Heron, Alexia, and Kofi arrive to the place where Heron originally mined the adamantine, but no trace of it could be found. Screams are heard from below, and although Heron disapproves of helping them as they've tried to rape his mother; however, Alexia argues the morality of it. Hence, Heron and the group head to the source of the screams, a mine with fog covering the area.
Moments later, an emaciated lady exits one of the mine caves, warns the group about the Keres, and dies in Heron's arms, Heron finds a bloody coin inside the mine, and deeper inside the cave, he locates and fights against the Keres. Amid the fight, he gets wounded by the Keres, who take advantage of the darkness. Under pressure, Heron activates his lightning ability to illuminate the area, allowing Alexia to slay one of the Keres and defeat the other. Heron then threatens the Keres by reinforcing Zeus' creed onto it, causing the last Keres to fly away in terror.
Outside, the people from Heron's old village approach them, and Heron recognizes one of them as one who tried to lynch his mother. However, the person's daughter gifts Heron a flower, and he accepts it. A warrior from the crowd who recognized Alexia approached them and learned from the group's conversation with him that Electra was likely buried in Kerameikos. Taking their leave, Heron was thanked by the people there.
En route to their destination, Heron's group finds the wounded Seraphim; however, they don't realize his true identity since he only knew him in his demonic form and did not recognize him in his human form. Seraphim's wounds are treated thanks to Heron cauterizing them with his lightning ability.
Heron then headed toward the location of his mother's grave and paid his respects to her. Unbeknownst to Heron, Seraphim had awoken and tried to assassinate him, but stopped short after learning Heron was in front of their mother's grave. He also heard Heron's remorse over killing Seraphim out of his disdain for killing her. Hence, Seraphim tried to walk away, but Heron noticed him, and the two talked about how they received their injuries.
When Heron asks why he was there, Seraphim answers he's searching for the grave of the priestess Gorgo. Around dusk, Gorgo's grave is found, and after Seraphim pays his respects, he tells Heron not to blame himself for his mother's death and leaves him. The remark left Heron perplexed, but then realized that the flowers on his mother's grave were made out of adamantine. After chipping away at one of them, Heron can use the compass to locate the sword.
Heron then has a heart-to-heart with Alexia about his actions in the cave, and their conversation is interrupted by the appearance of Iris, who gives him a scroll.
The Hidden Realm[]
Following the compass' direction's, Heron, Alexia, and Kofi fly to where the guardian is was stuck inside its head. Heron tried to attack it using his lightning ability, but it was ineffective, and Talos counter-attacked him, making him fall into the ocean. Kofi later rescues him, and in their attempt to enter Talos, only Kofi makes it inside, and Talos grasps Heron.
Afterward, Talos is defeated, and they're rescued by an acquaintance of Alexia's aunt Chrysanthe. They learn from her about the events occurring in the world and realize that the one who called himself Icarus was Seraphim. This makes Heron realize that it was his brother who he met at the cemetery (with Kofi even realizing that he did indeed rescue him as Gaia said) and that Hades who had revived and has Seraphim now doing his bidding.
When Kofi wonders why would Hades want Seraphim's help Heron believes that it's to retrieve the Elusinian Stone. With that all in mind, the group bid farewell to Chrysanthe and ride off again to beat his brother to the place where the Stone is currently being kept. Along the way, Alexia opens up to Heron about her own father issues: when she was born her mother died giving birth, which broke him so much that he couldn't even bare to look at her, leading her to try and become the best warrior in all of Greece to show he was wrong to do it, fortunately Heron assures her it's all right to let go of the hate she has for him as they continue on to save the world.
The Three Trials[]
After a longtime of flying, Heron and his friends finally arrive at the cavern leading to the place where the Elusinian stone is being kept: the secret Realm where Zeus was hidden before growing up & strong enough to face his father Cronos, entering the cavern, Alexia, Kofi and he make it to the entrance where they see the Curetes: the realm's guards, standing guard.
The moment Heron approaches them, the immortal guards demand to know who he is, and Heron answers, the son of Zeus, which they retort which one? So, Heron answers the one who inherited his power and displays Zeus' ring to the Curetes, and they believe in him. When they're asked if anyone passed through there, the Curetes answer, Nobody. However, Kofi spots footprints left by an unknown person.
This leads to the deduction that Seraphim was there before them and went by the name of Nobody. Not wanting to waste any more time, Heron tries to open the door to the Hidden Realm, but fails. Thanks to Alexia's advice, Heron tries using Zeus' ring on the door, which allows it to open.
Inside the Hidden Realm, Heron finds the corpse of the Dragon that Seraphim defeated. Continuing onward, Heron faces off against the Sphinx, who, after completing her challenge of facing his fear. He learns from the Sphinx that he didn't lack bravery, but the key to dying well.
Navigating through the labyrinth, Heron uses his sword to slice through the shifting labyrinth walls, allowing him to reach the end where Zeus' Eagle was. Once Heron approached the Eagle, Gaia appeared before him and congratulated him for his accomplishments thus far. However, she notes that he must pass one more trial: learning forgiveness, something the other Gods lack, but as soon as Gaia disappears, Seraphim arrives as well.
Entering in a brief conversation with Heron, Seraphim reveals that the reason he's now working with Hades is that so he can free someone he genuinely loves, but passed away by his own hands, from her suffering while he will willing take her place. At this he tosses Hades' Bident at the Eagle's cage, releasing it, and before he can catch it, he gets into a skirmish with Heron.
Eventually, Seraphim and Heron head back to the surface, where a stand-off between Ares, Hades, and Athena's individual allies and armies have begun and despite Hera's attempt to mediate the situation, she fails, and a battle for the Eleusinian Stone occurs. During the battle, Heron saves Seraphim and soon gets a hold of the stone, using it to overwhelm anyone who dared approach him. Seeing Hera on the battlefield, Seraphim tempted Heron to use the stone's power against her, orchestrating their mother's death.
However, Heron refuses to and forgives her alongside all of those who wronged him in the past, citing a clean slate that will be given to all. Unfortunately, despite convincing Hades to give what Seraphim wanted, Hades fatally stabs Heron for ruling that he must return to the Underworld, ultimately killing him.

Trivia[]
- Heron and Seraphim have two different fathers. Heron's father is Zeus and King Periander of Corinth is Seraphim's father. Despite this, they are still half-brothers since they share the same mother.
- This also goes for his half siblings like Apollo, Ares, Hermes, etc. Since Heron shares the same father as them.
- Heron is shown many times to be wielding the Adamantium sword in the advertisements but never once in the story he actually wields it, which leads to false advertisement.
- What's even stranger is that none of the characters seem to be bothered by Seraphim wielding it and never put any effort to retrieve it. But this can be chalked up as a simple plot hole within the story.
- In Season 2 he does reclaim the Adamantium Sword in episode 7. But sadly he end up dying in episode 8.
- Heron is the seventh bastard child that Zeus has sired from mortals.
