Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the main protagonist of DreamWorks' live-action How to Train Your Dragon film series based on their film trilogy of the same name based on Cressida Cowell's novel series of the same name. He is also based off his original incarnation of the same name.
He is portrayed by Mason Thames, who also played Finney Blake in The Black Phone.

Hiccup is a boy with brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. According to the official art book, Hiccup is sixteen years old, unlike his animated counterpart, who was fifteen in the first film. Like his animated counterpart, Hiccup gains a prosthetic foot after losing his during the Battle with the Red Death.

- Hiccup Horrendous Haddock is the first DreamWorks Animation protagonist in a live-action film, ironically he is the first protagonist in a DreamWorks Animation live-action remake film since he already has his animated counterpart.
