|“||I don't understand why anyone would want to risk their life for someone else. When you die, no matter how you died, it's over. To me, it's more important to enjoy life. We only live once, after all. It's a waste to spend all your time working and being responsible, right?||„|
|~ Hilda Goneril|

Hilda is an pink haired girl with two pigtails. In her appearance in the part I, she is an 18-year old girl who wears an black and white dress with an brown belt, she also wears dark blue boots with dark blue stockings.
In the post-time skip, she has her pink hair done into a waterfall style. She wears a black and pink dress, earrings, red gloves, and long black boots.
Hilda is very lazy, which is due to her being the only daughter of a noble and being spoiled as a result. She hates working, and will try to get others to do her work for her. She does this by drawing attention to herself and letting others do the work for her on their own volition. Despite this laziness, she is extremely charismatic and helpful if she puts in effort.
Despite how she might initially come off, she is actually very intelligent and perceptive. She is one of the only characters to realise that something was off with the Hero's Relics. She also was one of the only people to question why Monica was so happy after being imprisoned for a year. She is extremely loyal to Claude, refusing to join Edelgard when she betrays the Church. She is also in awe of her older brother Holst, who is one of the strongest generals in the Alliance.
She loves making handicraft accessories, not doing work, music, cute animals and fashion. She dislikes chores and doing hard work.
Hilda was the youngest daughter of House Goneril. Her older brother Holst became the head and heir of the family, and is one of the strongest generals in Fodlan. She enrolls in Garreg Mach Monastary Officers Academy and joins the Golden Deer. She joins Byleth if he chooses the Golden Deer house. If he chooses the Black Eagles, she can't be recruited. If he chooses the Blue Lions, she can be recruited if Byleth has high Charm and Axe proficiancy.
If the Verdant Wind route is chosen, Hilda returns after the time-skip as an unofficial retainer of Claude's. She helps Claude come up with the plan to capture Fort Merceus. She is also the one to witness Dimitri's death and tell Byleth and Claude.
If the Azure Moon route is chosen and Hilda is recruited, she returns to the monastery after the time-skip. If she is not recruited, then she is seen in the Battle at Grondor Field alongside the other Golden Deer members. She can be killed in the ensuing battle.
If the Silver Snow route is chosen, Hilda can only be recruited in chapter 13. If she is, she returns to the monastery after the time-skip. If not, she doesn't appear again in this route.
If the Crimson Flower route is chosen, Hilda can't be recruited at all. She appears with Claude and Lysisthea defending Derdriu. She can be killed in the ensuing battle, and if she is, Claude will mourn her, saying that she should have retreated.
