Hildegard Mochizuki (née Minas Lestia) is one of the tritagonists of the In Another World with My Smartphone franchise.
She is the First Princess of the Knight Kingdom of Lestia, as well as the younger sister of Reinhard Yunas Lestia and the daughter of Reid Yunas Lestia and Esther Minas Lestia. After defending the Lestian city of Merica during the NEET God and the Phrase's attack with Touya Mochizuki and his team's help, Hilde later falls in love with Touya for his efforts. Later she becomes the Third Queen of Brunhild Dukedom, as well as the mother of Freigard Mochizuki.
She is voiced by Yu Serizawa in Japanese and Molly Searcy in English.
Appearance[]
Hilde is shown as a tall, lean female teenager, who is fifteen (later sixteen) years of age. She has flawless white skin, beautiful blonde hair that is maintained in a bun, and blue eyes. She often sports a back-length red and white dress, a white cloak, thigh-high black stockings, and knee-high black boots.
She has an indigo ribbon and a silver tiara in her hair. She battles in gold-decorated mithril armour with the symbol of the Lestia royal family on the breastplate that has been magically charmed. The Brunhild Dukedom insignia is later put in its stead after becoming engaged and later married to Touya.
Pesronality[]
Hilde shows chivalry and dignity, and she typically uses formal language when speaking. She is interested in swordplay, and she and Yae Kokonoe are referred to be "sword art nuts" together. Despite having a stately demeanour, Hilde has demonstrated a tendency to blush readily when Touya and her are involved romantically, showing her inexperience with romance, as she did during her first encounter with Pam.
Abilities[]
- Swordsmanship: Hilde is shown to have a proficient ability in swords, due to her abilities as a royal knight of her own country. She is able to unleash six types of attacks, of whom which are appropriately dubbed as "Lestia-style Swordplays".
- Phrasium Sword: During her meeting with Touya within Brunhild Dukedom, Hilde receives Phrasium-made swords, which is emblazoned with the kingdom's insignia in her duties as the member of the kingdom's knight order.
- Improved Fighting Power: Hilde's Dependent Trait. After bestowing it from Moroha, Hilde grants an increased fighting power in combat.
- Siegrune: Hilde's personal Frame Gear, focussing on heavy melee attacks.
Trivia[]
- Owing to the astronomical-named theming of Touya's wives, Hilde's symbol is Jupiter.
- Much like Lu, Hilde pretty much only gained her engagement to Touya through the peer pressure of the other fiancees.
- Hilde is often annoyed by her grandfather, a dirty old man who gropes the bottoms of young women.
- Hilde trains daily with Yae.
