Hiromi Kadota is a Fenix Squad Leader and a supporting protagonist in Kamen Rider Revice. He was originally a Deputy Commander of Fenix until he was demoted for his reckless actions during the Revice ceremony. He is later given the Demons Driver and uses it to transform into Kamen Rider Demons, being used as an unknowing lab rat for it.

Following his retirement and in response to Giff's critical ongoing crisis, Hiromi return as a leader Weekend's Rider Troop branch, the Kamen Rider Demons Corps, consisting Kamen Rider Demons Troopers.

He is portrayed by Junya Komatsu.

Biography[]

Past[]

Hiromi was originally the weakest of his batch of recruits at the Fenix training academy. After hearing some advice from Commander Yujiro Wakabayashi however, Hiromi was inspired to try harder and soon rose to the top of his class. While there he was friends with Tatsuhiko Tabuchi and Chigusa Yamagiri.

Hiromi would eventually graduate and rise to the rank of Deputy Commander in Fenix.

Fenix Ceremony and Aftermath[]

Hiromi was assigned to oversee the ceremony where Daiji Igarashi would receive the Revice Driver, but the ceremony was crashed by the Deadmans. Hiromi then tried to use the Driver himself to fight them but failed to transform and only set loose his own inner demon as the Rex Deadman. Seeing this caused Daiji to become too doubtful of himself to use the Revice Driver. However, the driver was then picked up by his older brother Ikki and used by him to transform into Kamen Rider Revi.

Following the ceremony, Hiromi was reprimanded by Commander Wakabayashi for his reckless behavior and demoted from Commander to Squad Leader as punishment.

Becoming Demons and Fighting Kagero[]

After Daiji became possessed by his own inner demon Kagero, who used George's TwoSideDriver to transform into Kamen Rider Evil, Hiromi was able to persuade George to give him the prototype Demons Driver he had been working on, allowing him to transform into Kamen Rider Demons to fight Evil. However, Hiromi was unable to bring out the full power of the Driver and Evil proved stronger than him. Unbeknownst to Hiromi, George was really using him as a lab rat to test the Driver, which contained a demon that would feed on his soul every time he transformed.

However, Daiji was soon able to regain control over himself and lock up Kagero, using the TwoSideDriver to become Kamen Rider Live instead.

[]

Hiromi would later discover, much to his shock and sorrow, that Wakabayashi had been killed earlier and impersonated by the Chameleon Deadman to infiltrate Fenix, as part of a plan to steal the Giff Stamp from them. The Chameleon Deadman was successful in stealing the Stamp, but George had placed a tracker on it that led the Riders straight to the Deadmans Base. Hiromi and the other Riders succeeded in stopping the Deadmans from reviving Giff, but Olteca and Chameleon escaped with the Giff Stamp.

Soon after, Hiromi was elevated to his old position of Deputy Commander and temporarily replaced Wakabayashi as the commander of Fenix's Skybase. During a medical examination, Hiromi would learn that his body had aged to the equivalent of an 80 year old man through his repeated use of the Demons Driver. He was advised by Fenix medical officer Akemi Mikoshiba not to transform anymore, but Hiromi refused and continued to use the Demons Driver to fight the Deadmans after they were reassembled by Olteca. He would be relieved of his commanding role when Fenix Director Hideo Akaishi arrived to personally take command of Skybase.

To gain intel on the Deadmans, Hiromi devised a plan with his old friend Chigusa to stage her defection from Fenix so she could infiltrate the Deadmans. The plan proved to be a success but, while in the Deadmans, Olteca revealed a secret about Fenix's true purpose to her that caused her to sincerely defect to the Deadmans and begin feeding Fenix false intel to lure Hiromi into a trap so they could steal the Demons Driver from him. It was at this time that Hiromi discovered that the Demons Driver contained an actual demon inside of it that was feeding on his soul, leading him to furiously confront George and accuse him of using him as a lab rat to test the Driver. George admitted to using Hiromi as a test subject for it and mocked him for his creed of laying down his life, saying that that made him the perfect candidate to test it.

Growing suspicious of Fenix, Hiromi arranged a meeting with Chigusa so he could talk to her again. At the meeting, Hiromi admitted to her that he had grown distrustful of Fenix as well but he was still committed to fighting the Deadmans. However, Olteca revealed himself to be present at the meeting spot as well, and before Chigusa could tell Hiromi the secret behind Fenix's goals, she was stamped by him using the Giff Stamp and transformed into a Gifftarian. Hiromi transformed into Demons to fight her and was soon joined by Ikki and Sakura, who transformed into Kamen Riders Revi and Jeanne to fight Olteca and the Giff Juniors he summoned. At the end of the battle, Olteca was defeated by Revi and Vice and captured by Fenix.

Having grown suspicous of George and Director Akaishi, Hiromi later found the Director talking with Olteca about a secret deal and receiving the Giff Stamp from him. The two then noticed Hiromi, with Olteca summoning Giff Juniors to fight him while he and Akaishi staged his escape. Skybase's navigation system began malfunctioning as Olteca headed outside with the Demons Driver, pursued by Daiji. After Demons and Live's battle led both of them to the ground and Skybase landed, Hiromi picked up the TwoSiDriver and attempted to use its gun mode to shoot Olteca, but Olteca as Demons was able to deflect every attack before wounding Hiromi and sending him off a cliff. Right before Hiromi was blown away, he warned the Igarashi siblings about Fenix.

Faking Death and Retirement[]

Return to Battle[]

Following Akemi Mikoshiba's death at the hands of Akaishi, Hiromi stops Daiji from attacking Ikki. While celebrating at Happy Spa for his return, barring Daiji, Hiromi informs that all rehabilitated patients who use to form contract with their previous Deadmans has been evacuated from the Fenix SKy Base by Tatsuhiko, who are able to caught up Akaishi's plot undetected before Giff destroyed the base. Hiromi also learn that Daiji lost Kagero and his spiritual balance, thus ending up having a similar mistake the former had when he lost his inner demon, Rex Deadman.

He and George reconcile each other while being given by the latter the fully finalized mass produced Demons Drivers and trooper variants of Spider and Kuwagata troopers to the former's first two subordinates, in hopes to increase the resistance's ranks and forms Kamen Rider Demons Corps consisting Kamen Rider Demons Troopers against Giff's army. As George understands Hiromi's current condition, Hiromi can led his Rider Troop army without returning into original Kamen Rider Demons.

However, as Daiji's balance goes beyond control after he killed Akaishi, Hiromi have no choice to temporarily return as Kamen Rider Demons one more time and successfully helps Daiji to restore his spiritual balance and reviving Kagero, thus Daiji finally return to the righteous side he once betrayed. As Giff is still alive, Hiromi aids the Riders without transforming into a Rider himself, due to his current condition, forcing him to use archery until Giff is permanently defeated.

Azuma’s Revenge[]

Post-Giff Era[]

Few months after Azuma and Chic’s deaths, with Giff’s resurrection is now impossible, Hiromi is helped by Hikaru and Tamaki on packing all of Weekend’s equipment to be shipped from Karizaki household’s basement to ARARAT before finalizing Weekend’s merger with reformed Fenix. However, he and his allies learns that George went insane and start rampaging his own allies to pulp as Kamen Rider Juuga, combined by the lost of Masumi, and his inner demon who was freed from George’s body, Chic. As Ikki is at the last resort of stopping George from himself at cost of the memories of his friends and family, Hiromi discovers George indirectly co-creates the Vistamps from his childhood animal drawings that inspired Masumi to fully function the system out of love for his son. As a broken George is defeated by Ultimate Revice and learned from Hiromi that the former is the reason Vistamps came to exist, he cries his father’s name in sadness and truly misses him.

At the same time Hiromi and his friends are saddened that Revice Driver took tolls of erasing Ikki’s memories completely, Hiromi and his allies, alongside those they helped previously followed Vice’s plan to restore Ikki’s lost memories, whereas the demon pretend to be a villain, even it means costing his contract and his existence sealed, with Vice can only be revived through new demon contract.

Following Vice’s sacrifice, Hiromi, Daiji, Hana and Tamaki finalized a merger company between Weekend and Fenix, known as Blue Bird, to honor their fallen demon ally, Vice.
