Hong Kong Phooey, the "number one super guy" is a martial artist and the titular protagonist of the Hanna Barbera animated TV series of the same name, who travels about the city in his "Phooeymobile" looking for any "Badguys".
He lessons to what crime is going on as Penry, and then he changes to Hong Kong Phooey using the file cabinet (which usually gets stuck, so Spot has to bang it to open it) then Hong Kong Phooey pops out. The due then take the Phooeymobile and find out where the crime is taking place and stop it.

Personality
He Seems to more then less of a dim-wit, with kongfu skills, he Usually brings Spot Alongside with him, Spot is a Yellow furred feline Who is Usually getting the job done, more then Hong Kong Phooey himself. Hong Kong Phooey Usually never know that Spot already did his job, in result Hong Kong Phooey thinks he takin care of the bad guys.
Identity
The stories begin at the police headquarters, where Hong Kong Phooey's alter ego, Penry, works as a mild-mannered janitor under the glare of Sergeant Flint ("Sarge"). Also at the police station is Rosemary, the telephone operator, who has a crush on Hong Kong Phooey. After Rosemary gets a call and explains the crime, Penry runs into a filing cabinet and (always getting stuck) transforms himself into Hong Kong Phooey.
Live Action
A live action/CGI hybrid film based on the character of the same name is being made with Eddie Murphy voicing the main character. Test footage of the film was leaked on 28 December 2012 with a Marvin the Martian film project. The release date is unknown.
