HoodudeVoodoo

Hoodude Voodoo is a teenage voodoo doll and one of the supporting characters in Monster High.

A raggedy doll created by Frankie to be her boyfriend in the webisode "HooDoo You Like?". After Frankie decides that she doesn't need a guy to fit in, she tosses him away, only for him to reveal that he's alive and heartbroken at her "breaking up with him." He gets over it later, and now infrequently tags along with the ghouls on their adventures.

He was voiced by Cam Clarke.

Appearance[]

Hoodude is a walking rag doll, with a mostly grey skin with patches of various hues of blue, with visible stitches. Blue felt strands hair and a black nose, Hoodude also sports a mouth with stitches connecting the lips (which still allow him to talk) and two differently colored button eyes, just like his creator Frankie Stein. Additionally, he has various nails sticking out from his body.

Personality[]

Hoodude is a kind soul, but with a penchant for melodrama. His main concern in life is being loved by Frankie, but he pursues it passively rather than actively. After Frankie decides that she doesn't need a guy to fit in, she tosses him away, only for him to reveal that he's alive and heartbroken at her "breaking up with him." He gets over it later, and now infrequently tags along with the ghouls on their adventures.

Hoodude can be scary at times, albeit dormant, when he discovers that his voodoo powers only work when he has a possession of the monster he's affecting when Manny flips him a coin and he later replaces a lost pin. He decides to try again and keep the coin "just in case".

Powers[]

Hoodude, a voodoo doll, has many biological abilities, acquired the day of his creation.

  • Voodoo: Like a voodoo doll, when Hoodoo is hurt, whoever is close to him or whose stuff he is holding will feel the pain for him, and suffer the respective consequences. Usually this effect creates a little spark around the zone affected, possibly a callback to his creator. He can transfer pain to others without holding their stuff, but only to males. In the AWA fics, Hoodude was given an amulet that helps him control his powers.
  • Pain Inability: Hoodude is unable to feel pain and is hardly ever damaged, as he has been through several deadly situations without a scratch.

Trivia[]

  • Hoodude was released in a 2 pack with Scarah Screams as the SDCC 2012 dolls.
  • In the webisodes, Hoodude only wears a Monster High jacket. In the 3D specials, Hoodude's model is composed of his head and a generic boy body, meaning he wears pants and shoes in the 3D specials.
  • Hoodude jokingly quotes a bit of "Frosty the Snowman" when talking about his creation.
