"They're dangerous amphibivores, and they only get white spots right before they're about to-"

After receiving a message from the Sundews, Hop Pop is satisfied that they've agreed to a date.

Anne and Hop Pop excited when Sprig agrees to go along with the date with Ivy.

Later, Hop Pop and Anne dress Sprig up and put makeup on him to get him ready for the Firefly Formal.

(yawns) "Well, that's enough excitement for me today. I think I'm gonna turn in."

"Now, where was I? Oh, yes, Great Aunt Gertrude. She was a masterful dirt tiller. I mean, how cool is that?"

"Oh, and you can't forget second cousin Alfred. He was the king!"

"Yeah! The king of single-tiered irrigation systems."

"Just farm frogs? Kids, the point of the shrub is to give you an appreciation for your past. The Plantar family has layers. You just have to know where to look."

Hop Pop looking proud as Anne doesn't buy what he said.

"Don't have to be blood to be a Plantar, Anne."

"Uh-oh, looks like we're out of glue!"

"This is gonna be a little difficult."

"Dang it, you're right. In the end, it's all about love."

"Yet another choice. Looks like my day just got a lot more challenging."

Unable to come up with a decision, Hop Pop decides to buy lots of glue.

"You can never have too much glue, I always say."

Hop Pop covered in glue after Loggle surprises him again.

"Glue! Everywhere!"

"Need water!"

Hop Pop collapsing on the ground, causing a shelf full of glue containers to spill all over him.

"Loggle! Help me!"

Hop Pop returning home while still being covered in specks of glue.

Seeing the kids emerge from the clock, Hop Pop is confused when they mention they found the hidden layers of the Plantar family.

Hop Pop surprised to hear the kids had discovered secret rooms in his home and heirlooms left by the Plantar family ancestors.

When the kids warns him that the secret rooms have all kinds of traps and puzzles, Hop Pop assures them that he can handle them.

Two days later, the Plantars return to Stumpy's diner which has been converted into Thai-frog cuisine restaurant.

"You weren't kidding when you said you were good at this."

When the Plantars try to book a table, Anne tells them that all of the tables are full.

Hop Pop seeing Anne and Stumpy are surprised to see Albus Duckweed at the restaurant.

"So...this mean we can't have your table?"

Hop Pop, Stumpy, Anne, Sprig, and Polly seeing a kraken revealing itself to still be alive.

After the kraken's defeat, the Plantars and everyone else praise Anne for defeating the monster and saving Stumpy's restaurant.
