Biography[]

Born somewhere in the mid-1930's, Hope was a remarkable and courageous woman with an early awareness of the supernatural in her dreams. In 1957, Hope demonstrates a connection to mysterious phenomena, including a supernatural phone that allows her to communicate across time or with the dead. These early experiences hint at her heightened intuition and the extraordinary insight that will later manifest in her children.

In the mid-1960's, Hope met and married Terrence before giving birth to her two children, Finney in 1965 and Gwen in 1967. Hope showed strong maternal instincts to protect her children from sinister evil-doers such as The Grabber, a serial killer who kidnaps and kills children into mysterious disappearances.

Tragically, in 1975, Hope was killed by the Grabber after uncovering his heinous crimes. Her death leaves a lasting void in her family, profoundly affecting both Finney and Gwen. Despite her tragic loss, Hope’s influence resonates throughout the series. Gwen, in particular, inherits her mother’s sensitivity to the supernatural, which shapes her path in the series.

Hope is remembered not only as a mother but also as a courageous woman who faced evil with bravery. She embodied resilience, maternal love, and the tragic consequences of standing up to evil. Even in death, she serves as a guiding presence, her legacy carried forward through her children’s struggles and triumphs.

When the Grabber was frozen in the lake, as the siblings were leaving the camp, she called Gwen to send her love, and inform Finn the same thing.
