Hounddog McBrag is a supporting antagonist in Season 15: Crystalized in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is the marshal of the Ninjago City Police Department and the toughest sheriff in all of Ninjago.
Though he was focused on capturing the Ninja to bring them back to Kryptarium Prison for breaking the law, the marshal eventually changed his mind after Lloyd saves him from being infected from zombified Hypnobrai. He eventually joins the Resistance and fights against the Crystal King and his forces in order to take back Ninjago. He is last seen at the Monastery of Spinjitzu helping the Ninja and their allies rebuild it.
Biography[]
Hounddog McBrag is known for being the toughest sheriff in all of Ninjago. Ulysses Trustable, the mayor of Ninjago City, called upon the marshal to help capture the Ninja (who had escaped from Kryptarium Prison), as the regular police officers had failed to apprehend them.
McBrag first appeared in the titular episode "Hounddog McBrag", where he yelled at some Ninjago City Police officers and told them that they were going after the Ninja and that he would bring them to justice, no matter what it took.
Personality[]
Fierce and tough-as-nails, there is a reason Hounddog McBrag is regarded as the toughest sheriff in all of Ninjago; taking no nonsense from absolutely anyone, the marshal is keen to bring any criminals to justice, even if it means driving through a river in order to catch them.
After being rescued by Lloyd from being turned into a crystal zombie, McBrag learns that orders aren't everything and that he should put aside his differences to help his fellow civilians fight a bigger threat.
Despite being antagonistic towards the Ninja, he isn’t considered a villain as he was just doing his job, as the Ninja broke the law by breaking out of jail.

- McBrag's first name, Hounddog, is a possible reference to the Elvis Presley song "Hound Dog".
- His name could also be a reference to Ninjago writer Bragi Schut.
