Robert Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk, is a playable character in the 2020 video game Marvel's Avengers.
He is a scientist who, after being exposed to gamma radiation, transforms into a giant green monster whenever he gets angry.
As Banner, he is voiced and motion-captured by Troy Baker, who also voiced Joel Miller in The Last of Us, Talion in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Delsin Rowe in inFamous: Second Son and Sam Drake in the Uncharted series. As Hulk, he is voiced by Darin De Paul (who also voiced Samuel Hayden in the Doom series and Gabriel Krafft in Call of Duty: Vanguard) as Hank Watts provided motion-capture.

Bruce Banner was a scientist with the misfortune of being caught at ground zero of a Gamma Bomb explosion — which, instead of killing him, awoke a vicious, gargantuan alter-ego called the Hulk, which he transforms into upon being enraged. While Banner is still respected as a scientist, the Hulk is widely feared by the public, so he allies himself with the Avengers in order to make sure that he can keep the big guy in check.

Background[]
Little is known of Robert Bruce Banner's past, but he went to grad school in New Mexico where he befriended Monica Rappaccini. During one of his experiments with gamma radiation, he was hit with high levels of it, causing him to transform into giant green like. Named the "Hulk", Banner did his best to avoid being angered since it would trigger his transformations. At some point, he joined the Avengers and was able to gain control of the Hulk. During his time, he began a romantic relationship with Monica and he convinced SHIELD to fund her experiments at AIM.
Powers & Abilities[]
The Hulk is one of the strongest beings ever. His strength is potentially limitless, given that it grows exponentially as his emotional distress grows. His super human power makes him a terrifying combatant that not many can best. His superhuman strength also enables him top-speed (with a limit) and leap exceptionally long distances, almost as if he were flying. When slamming his hands together, he can also create destructive shockwaves.
