	~ Hunter De Vil telling the reasonably angered and upset Dalmatians that he didn't know Cruella had the intentions to kill the Dalmatians for their fur.

Hunter De Vil is a secondary antagonist through some of the many episodes turned redeemed villain in the first season's final episode.

He is voiced by Joshua LeClair.

Biography[]

What we know since the the very first season is that he his the great grand-nephew of Cruella De Vil who as we known later on has been gaslighting him into capturing the Dalmatians to get the Dog's fur optimized. We also known he would be a trouble maker on the first episode when pulling a prank. On the episodes later with him making more of a role as a small role all the way to a antagonistic role he has shown to go at his way to participate in activities or contests with any of the Dalmatians like the Triple-D popular Dalmatian younglings who inadvertedly got their popular status to attract Hunter's attention getting to the Dalmatians. Hunter would also instruct his Cat Cuddles to trash up the park and frame it on the Dalmatians as a way to record the Dalmatians and track them down as well as following around Da Vinci on an episode dedicated to herself where he would look for Da Vinci and spy on the Dalmatians a lot constantly. At some point he eventually talks to Dylan being able to understand Dylan and convince him to hang out and trick him into trying to kidnap the Dalmatians. This backfires and leads to him getting trapped in a retangular red metal box with Dog food leading to Hunter containing a second personality acting like a Dog and Cruella scolding him like always and eventually her taking over on the final episodes. She eventually kidnaps the Dalmatians with some accomplishments helping with Hunter being one of them and two guards. When Hunter was informed about Cruella's true intentions with murdering the Dalmatians and dumping the remains as she says which shocks Hunter. Cruella instructs the guards to put Hunter into the red box transported into a boat in the very start of the progress heading to Switzerland that Hunter was trapped in once more with the Dalmatians Cruella has been competent enough to have in the red box. Hunter would be confronted by the Dalmatians angry at him and he would emphasize his despair with being trapped just like them leading to the Dalmatians sympathizing with Hunter. Hunter eventually refuses to allow Dorthy the little pup into the fur optimizing machine resulting to Hunter barking at Cruella startling her into falling into the machine only to be saved by the Dalmatians. Cruella scolds Hunter calling him a traitor. The Dalmatians go to the Camden Bus that they specifically used to ride in through A Summer To Remember and Hunter is last seen on the last episode chasing Cuddles barking with his personality formed back from his Dog like personality with the credits ending. As Hunter is no longer an enemy of the Dalmatian family as he is now friends with them.

Personality[]

Hunter can be shown to be malevolent throughout the initial start with the various forms of pranks and stunts he would do, as well as showing an initially incompetent side going at every way to participate and win in at a certain contest just to get more closer to the Dalmatians to try to get a sample of the Dalmatians, alongside possibly instructing his hairless feline pet Cuddles to trash the Park and working with him to kidnap the Dalmatians like Dorthy and help him kidnap the Dalmatians. He would have a competent side all the way to an episode through his defeat which has led to him to some circumstances being trapped in a red rectangular box with dried food to eat which has subsequently shifted around his personality creating another side of him dissociating into a personality of a Dog acting like one. Barking and doing a lot of things like of what a Dog would do. He would be incompetent at the start until being helped by Cruella when she takes over. However, when Cruella revealed her plan Hunter was clearly distraught with Cruella's reveal especially shocked with Cuddles not even bothering to help in the progress. Hunter would eventually turn against Cruella and stop her plan all together and chase around Cuddles as a Dog at the mere end which is where his story concluded at. Not much else has been mentioned enough.

Heroical Deeds[]

In "De Vil Wears Puppies" Part 2 he is told about the news by Cruella on what would happen to the Dalmatians which causes him to be shocked and surprised. Subsequently after being tossed onto the box by his aunt's guards he refuses to let Dorthy get into the fur optimization and barked at Cruella which inadvertedly caused Cruella to go into the fur optimizing shredding machine almost getting killed but thankfully being saved by Delilah and Doug Dalmatians parents of the Dalmatian Family who Cruella almost had killed. Hunter and the Dalmatians showed back up out of the dock safely together.

What makes him heroic is him refusing to let Dorthy become fur optimized and essentially being able to inadvertently take down his aunt Cruella in the progress.
He is one of the few antagonist in the 101 Dalmatians franchises to be related to Cruella De Vil in some way.
- But in great contrast with the other henchmen, as opposed to another character in Patch's London Adventure. He would retaliate against Cruella's plans holding some standards against her plan eventually as he episodes would carry on.
Similar to Sid Squirel he has a form of dissociation as evident to the times he turns into his Dog-like self literally acting like and doing things like a Dog causing his pet Cat Mr. Cuddles to hiss at Hunter De Vil on numerous occasions.
