Hydorous is a robotic lion-like Aquos Bakugan and partner of Shun Kazami from the reboot series of Bakugan Bakugan Battle Planet.

When Shun and Hydorous arrived in the hometown of the Awesome Ones, they competed with Magnus Black to see which of them would qualify for the Awesome Ones. And they got to the Awesome Ones because Magnus cheated because he didn't play well. And then they did the work that the Awesome Ones does. Hydorous even fought with Shun when Shun's father and his men came to get Shun back to Japan. And when the Awesome Ones met Benton Dusk, they began to fight with him against his sister, Philomena Dusk, and AAAnimus Inc., and protected all Bakugans from Philomena. And when a Bakugan named Tiko attacked Earth, Hydorous and his teammates allied with AAAnimus agents, fought against Tiko, defeated him, and saved the Earth.
