Hydrophant is a main tritagonist of 2025 Japanese anime web series Transformers: Wild King.
He is voiced by Zenyoji Kyohei.
Biography[]
When Optimus and Lightlong arrived and went to take a refugee in a cave, Hydrophant later meet up with them and became excited after hearing that Optimus might be a legendary hero who hailed from outside of planet. After discovering they haven't received news from Drillnohorn, Hydrophant becomes horrified of hearing about the fight with the Dinosaur Tribe and Megatron is in league with them, admitted that fighting is scary before running away in fear. While Optimus and Lightlong went after him, Hydrophant accidentally crashed a tree which almost crushed them to death until he almost crashed onto Spirituan who used Earth Defense against him. Spirituan attempt to attack him for almost crashing into him, but Optimus arrives and stops him from attacking Hydrophant, before reminding Hydrophant that he needs to stand up and fight what's important to him.
When Ignite Leo arrives and attack both Optimus and Lightlong, even when they merged together as Lightning Optimus, Hydrophant cannot bear to see his friends being attacked and transform to protect them by launching a stream of water at Leo. With his newfound determination and confidence, Hydrophant Wildocking with Optimus, becomes Lightning Aqua Optimus. They finally unleashed Hydro Thunder Splash at Ignite Leo, defeating both him and Spirituan.
