Hyo (Sakamoto Days)

Hyo is a supporting character in the action manga series, Sakamoto Days. He is a powerful assassin who was part of the Order in the Japanese Association of Assassins, alongside Shishiba and Osaragi. He reached a great summit of recognition after a long progress in his career as an assassin.

Appearance[]

Hyo is a towering bulky man of muscular build with messy black hair. His jaw is implanted with a metal piece. For attire, he usually wears, several ear piercings, black clothes, two chain necklaces, and numerous black rings around his fingers.

Personality[]

Despite his intimidating look, Hyo can be generally viewed as a man of respect to regular civilians. However, to friends, he can be easily provoked such as when Nagumo teased him. Yet, he remains an unwaveringly loyal member of both the Order, adhering strictly to the established guidelines and orders. This commitment is evident when he initially refuses to divulge information about the JAA to Sakamoto and his companions. In the past, as a rookie assassin, he still took great dedication in his training to become strong, but was still criticized by his mentor, Satoru Yotsumura that he lacked potential. As a result, he worked tirelessly until he gained recognition as one of the most formidable.

Given his less-than-stellar beginnings, he holds himself to high standards. As an Order member, he strives to maintain his position at the pinnacle alongside other members he refers to as the strongest, underscoring his commitment to excellence.

Abilities[]

Enhanced Endurance: Hyo was capable of withstanding numerous impacts unscathed when an MRI machine was operated, it could generate around metal objects into projectiles that traveled at an alarming speed. Remarkably, this didn't impede his resilience or slow him down. In the same intense battle, Hyo persisted in fighting despite catastrophic damage, momentarily overpowering Kumanomi even after sustaining fatal injuries from multiple boat propellers. He even ate a direct punch from Kumanomi, who possessed highly increased strength.

Morever, Hyo exhibited to be capable of also enduring other deadly metal projectiles like steel beams, being thrown at him, as well as being hurled at cars, with minimal visible damage. Even when Kumanomi utilized her electromagnetic powers to rip off Hyo's right ear, he remained unfazed and continued to engage in combat without hesitation. It was only after Kumanomi crafted a coilgun and shot multiple nails into Hyo that he sustained significant damage, including neurotrauma.
