Hyp

Hyp is the main antagonist turned-supporting protagonist of The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving. He is Mutt and Nod's boss.

He later reappeared in the final episode of The Land Before Time TV show called The Great Egg Adventure.

He is a teenage Hypsilophodon who lives in the Great Valley with his unnamed father.

In the third film, he was voiced by Whit Hertford and in the TV series, he is voiced by Micheal Kelley.

Personality

Hyp was mean, bossy, rude, arrogant, angry and cruel at first but he later reforms at the end of the film.

Although Hyp reformed in the climax of the third film, he, alongside his henchmen, Mutt and Nod, returned to their bullying and antagonistic behaviour in the final episode of the Land Before Time TV show but in the end, they reformed again.

Trivia

• It is unknown what happened to Hyp's Mother since she did not appear in any movies and she did not appear in the TV show either. 
• In a book about The Land Before Time, Hyp's name was spelt "Hip".
• Hyp, Mutt, Nod, Cera, Topps and Hyp's Dad seem to be the only antagonists of The Land Before Time who live in The Great Valley.
