Ian, also known as The Very Tall Man, is a minor character from The Simpsons.

He is voiced by Hank Azaria.

Biography[]

Ian teaches bullies a lesson because he was bullied all the way from the 3rd grade all the way to high school.

He first appeared in 22 Short films about Springfield in which he drove a Volkswagen Beetle. When Nelson laughed at him, he got out of his car and chased him, and Nelson hid in a sewer. When Lisa told him Nelson was hiding in the sewer, he pulled Nelson out and confronted him for laughing at his appearance when he is driving his automobile. He then told Nelson that the Volkswagen Beetle was the biggest car he could afford.

He then pulled Nelson's pants down and forced him to march. Ian then told everyone to laugh at him. He then told him to blow kisses at everyone. Nelson cried until Bart and Milhouse squirted ketchup and mustard on him from above.

He waas later seen on a bus to New York when Homer complained about not feeling his legs after waking up and proceeded to punch them until Marge told them they weren't his legs, Ian got out of his seat and stood up while bending down giving homer an angry glare while Homer nervously says hi to him.

He later appeared in an episode where he took part in the World's tallest pyramid attempt.

He would also be seen watching Homers terrible comedy routine called "Dave's not here" with everyone laughing except him (since everyone was being sprayed with laughing gas but Ian was above it thus not affected by it).

He later appeared playing Peekimon Get at Springfield Cemetery.

Non-Canon Appearances[]

Nelson tried to get payback on him for his previous humiliation of him by hiring Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney to attack him but Ian defeats them and inflicts the same punishment he did to Nelson.

He later does it to Snake Jailbird as well.
