Igor is the titular antiheroic protagonist of Tyler, The Creator's Grammy-winning sixth studio album, IGOR.
He is a homosexual man who fell head-over-heels in love with his friend, but wasn't able to be in a relationship with him on account of the latter's interest in his ex, making him feel like a metaphorical "Igor", being pushed to the side and treated as an afterthought. This would result in Igor growing incredibly envious and even plotting to murder the man's ex, before eventually accepting that he'll never be with the man he likes. The album ends with Igor wearily begging the man to still be friends with him despite having no attraction towards him, followed by an inconclusive synth note that leads perfectly into the album's first song, indicating that Igor is stuck in a perpetual cycle of falling in and out of love.
He was portrayed by Tyler Gregory Okonma, better known as Tyler, The Creator, who also played Wolf Haley and Dr. TC in his WOLF trilogy, as well as the title character in CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale & Chromakopia respectively.
