Ingrid the Snow Queen (also known as Sarah Fisher), is the main antagonist turned anti-hero of the first half of the fourth season of ABC's "Once Upon a Time".
She was portrayed by Elizabeth Mitchell.
History
Initially a kind and caring person, Ingrid was turned into a villainess after being trapped in an urn by her sister Gerda. Before Ingrid's imprisonment, the Duke of Weselton was harassing her and blackmailing her upon discovering her powers, but Helga, Ingrid's sister and the Duke's bride, arrived and scolded the Duke, and Ingrid tried to stop the Duke, but instead she accidentally froze Helga and she got killed by the weather. Ingrid had a hole in her heart which could only be filled by having a family and she hatched a plan to turn Queen Elsa, her niece, and Emma Swan into her sisters and Ingrid would do whatever it took to achieve this. But once Anna recovers a note from Gerda, saying how sorry she was and that she loved Ingrid, Ingrid has a realization of what she has done and become a hero once more. Ingrid performs one last act of heroism before her death and saves the entire town of Storybrooke.
