Inkay is a Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in the Generation VI of the Pokémon franchise. It is the pre-evolution of its evolved form, Malamar.
In the anime, James from Team Rocket owns an Inkay. But despite being a Pokémon owned by Team Rocket, Inkay possesses the ability to pacify anybody who is extremely evil and would teach them what is right and what is wrong.
