Inkay is a Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in the Generation VI of the Pokémon franchise. It is the pre-evolution of its evolved form, Malamar.
In the anime, James from Team Rocket owns an Inkay. But despite being a Pokémon owned by Team Rocket, Inkay possesses the ability to pacify anybody who is extremely evil and would teach them what is right and what is wrong. For example, in the 54th upcoming episode of Pokémon the Series: XY, it said that Inkay will stand up to the evil Malamar that has a desire to take over the world and teach it a lesson it will never forget. And at some point, Inkay might try to convince Malamar to be a good Pokémon rather than an evil, destructive one.
