Inklings are a race of half squid/half human hybrids and are the main protagonist of Splatoon. They ink their turf and try to save Inktoplis from the Octarins. Their rivals are none other than the Octolings. The Inkling girl has long tentical-like hair that goes down to their waist whil the Inkling boy's variant is rather shorter.

- While their a costume for the Mii Fighters in Super Smash Brothers 4, it's currently unknow if they'll be a playable fighter in future DLC.
