Isabel Neves is a major character in the 2023 film Fast X.

She is a Brazilian street racer and the younger sister of Elena Neves.

She is portrayed by Daniela Melchior, who also portrayed Ratcatcher 2 in The Suicide Squad.

Biography

Background

Isabel Neves was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is the younger sister of Elena. When Elena's husband was killed, Isabel helped her sister through her grief and played a role in Elena's eventual romance with Dominic Toretto. She left Rio sometime before the events of Fast Five, but came back after her sister's murder by Cipher to mourn her death.

Fast X

Isabel first appeared when Dom went to Rio to challenge Dante Reyes to a street race. Isabel and her friend Diogo compete in the race too, but Dante cheated by planting bombs under their cars. He kills Diogo with the bomb and tries to kill Isabel too, but Dom manages to disloge the bomb from Isabel's car before it explodes. However, the explosion sets Isabel's car on fire trapping her inside and Dom is forced to throw the race to save her. The next morning, Isabel wakes up in her bedroom where Dom finds her shrine to Elena and realizes she's Elena's sister. Isabel mentions her sister told her about Dom. She gives Dom information about the Reyes family through Elena’s files. She encourages to go after Dante and be careful.

Dante eventually kidnaps Isabel and brings her onto the same highway where his father was killed. After Dom breaks out of custody and starts fighting Dante's men with Aimes' help, Dante gets his attention by holding Isabel hostage with a knife to her throat. Tess Petty stands on a car and holds Dante at gunpoint to make him let go of Isabel, which he does but not before virgorously licking her face, which disgusts Isabel. Tess is then shot by Dante's helicopter and the sniper tries to shoot Isabel too, but Dom tackles her out of the way in time. After Dante steals God's Eye from Tess and goes after Dom's son Brian Marcos, Isabel tells Dom to save her nephew and drives Tess to the hospital.

• Despite being Elena's sister, Isabel neither appeared nor was mentioned by her sister in Fast Five.
• Melchior also made an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 alongside Vin Diesel, which was released in May 2023, two weeks before Fast X came out.
