Jack 'Slim' Chance is the titular protagonist of the 2003 Cartoon Monsoon shorts Slim Chance: Intergalactic Zoologist. He was voiced by co-creator David Fain.

Biography

Jack Chance is an intergalactic zoologist and television host who is famous around the Galaxy. He is helped by the cowboy Grubby and a flying camera named CR-1. Whenever he dies, Grubby clones him by using a piece of his hair or toe nail. He was hired by an unnamed purple woman who doesn’t want him to be cloned due to money. Slim Chance was hired to discover a giant fungus. As he got eaten and later cloned, Grubby cooked up the fungus for mushroom soup. He was later able to find an Odinian Ice Fox so he can breed it with a male in captivity. Throughout the week, he and Grubby fed the Ice Fox well. As he dropped the Ice Fox off, he learned that he accidentally brought in a male instead of a vixen.
