Jack Shindo is the main protagonist of Ultraman: Towards The Future. He is the human host of Ultraman Great and a member of UMA.

Ultraman Great[]
While exploring the surface of Mars with his partner Stanley Hagard, the two were interrupted by the appearance of Gudis, whom went on to kill the latter and destroy their ship during its battle against Ultraman Great. After the monster was defeated and left to attack Earth, Great merged with Jack so that he wouldn’t be stuck on Mars.
Upon arriving on Earth, he joined the defense force known as UMA and began helping them protect Earth from Gudis’s monsters and his plan to assimilate the universe, as well as future monsters afterward.
