Jack the Rat or simply just Jack is a supporting antagonist of the 2025 indie-horror web series The Gastight District by GLITCH. He was a former dishwasher at the whale belly butcher shop but turned against them when he saw Mel's nose bleed and finding out that she was human.
He was voiced by John Whinfield, who also voiced Mud in the same series.
Appearance[]
Jack looks like all the other rotlings but he has a white puffy wig.
Biography[]
Jack seemed to have a close bond with The Smiling Dead family being the dishwasher at The Whale Belly Butcher shop. Until one day, While he was doing dishes Mel was reading a porn magazine next to him which causes her nose to bleed black blood. He quickly turns against The Smiling Dead and tries to warn The Gaslight District about Mel's black blood, but unfortunately The Smiling Dead catch him cement him damming him to eternal drowning
At the end of the pilot, Jack is still seen at the bottom of the sea drowning but a hook is dunked into the ocean next to Jack which would pressembly fish him out hinting his return.
Trivia[]
He is by far the only character in The Gaslight District who can be considered a hero due to him attempting to save The Gaslight District.
