Janet Cage is a minor character in Mortal Kombat 1, being a female version of Johnny Cage from a different timeline, sharing his abilities and personality.
She is voiced by Courtney Taylor.
Biography[]
Mortal Kombat 1[]
Janet appears among the Union of Light assembled by Fire God Liu Kang, made up of warriors throughout the timelines, to oppose Titan Shang Tsung and his Forces of Darkness. At the start of the battle of Armageddon, she pushes past Johnny in anticipation. During the battle itself, Janet, along with a Johnny and Ninja Mime, helped the playable Final Warrior against a Goro wielding Shao's Wrath Hammers, with them being able to push him into a fissure. However, just as the Final Warrior left, she and Johnny were pulled by Goro into the fissure with him.
As well as this, a villainous version of Janet features as a possible antagonist for the Final Warrior.
Janet Cage would become a Kameo fighter on 27th March 2024.
