Jason Allen, in a dystopian future governed by the Sovereign, as the children of Barry Allen (The Flash) and Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), assume the roles of Green Lanterns.
The twins utilize their abilities in accordance with their emotions, radiating with the spectrums they experience. He and his twin sister Jenny have taken their mother's powers to the next level, and they don't even need rings. Jason has a stronger affinity for the Black Light of Death compared to his sister.
Appearance[]
Jason's fashion sense is influenced by Star Wars, as he often wears tattered clothes in a style reminiscent of the franchise. His jacket proudly displays the symbol of the Green Lanterns. His preferred attire includes a black vest, reflecting his affinity for dark energy.
Jason, a teenager of medium height, sports practically white silver-blond hair. He has bright lantern eyes just like his twin sister, Jenny.
Personality[]
In contrast, Jason is less emotional and more stable than his sister. He tends to be more outgoing and serves as a source of comfort for Jenny and and source of emotional stability. Despite the hardships they've experienced, both twins display courage and fight alongside the Justice League until the very end.
History[]
Jason Allen, approximately 22 years in an alternate future, was born as the second child of The Flash (Barry Allen) and Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. He grew up alongside his sisters and the children of the Justice League. Alongside his sisters Jenny and Nora, they are thrust into the present time, seeking their parents' help to save their own apocalyptic future. It is revealed that while Nora possesses Barry's speed, Jenny and Jason have gained access to the Lantern Light through their connection with Jessica Cruz. However, instead of receiving rings, it is unveiled that the twins have complete access to the various colors of the lantern. Their powers are in constant and uncontrollable flux, with their emotional states dictating which aspect of the Emotional Spectrum they can access at any given moment.
When the malevolent villains known as the Membros clashed with the superhero team, the Justice League, they chanted a song that summoned an entity called the Darkness to Earth. The twins play a crucial role in defeating the Darkness. The White Lantern and Black Lantern powers, associated with life and death respectively, manifest in Jenny and Jason Allen when they are pushed to their limits. Unfortunately, while their emotions unlock new facets of their powers, Jason unleashes his control over the black spectrum of death, dealing a significant blow to the entity and aiding in its eradication.
After the battle concludes, despite the Justice League considering the children to be dimensional anomalies of time, they convince the team to let them continue existing. The time spent with their parents helps Jenny and Jason gain complete control over their powers, and they return to their own time as better heroes, back in the future, allowing their story to continue.
Powers and Abilities[]
Emotional Spectrum Manipulation: Similar to his sister Jennifer, Jason possesses a direct connection to the entire Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum, even without the use of a power ring. This enables him to tap into and manipulate various colors of emotional energy. He has demonstrated the ability to create Hard Light Constructs of Lights, indicating the potential to wield other colors of the emotional spectrum.
The Emotional Spectrum is a vast and diverse range of energies a breakdown of the different colors and their associated emotions:
- Red/Rage: Represents the emotion of anger and rage. Wielded by the Red Lantern Corps, it taps into the wearer's rage but comes at a cost to their well-being.
- Orange/Avarice: Symbolizes greed and avarice. The Orange Lantern Corps, led by Larfleeze, harnesses this energy, but its wielders become consumed by their own greed.
- Yellow/Fear:Signifies fear and is wielded by the Sinestro Corps. Those capable of instilling fear in others can tap into this power.
- Green/Will: Represents willpower and serves as the central color of the spectrum. The Green Lantern Corps, led by the Guardians of the Universe, draws upon this energy to battle evil and uphold order.
- Blue/Hope: Symbolizes hope and can be wielded by those who inspire hope in others. The Blue Lantern Corps assists the Green Lanterns in their mission.
- *Indigo/Compassion: Represents compassion and can manipulate the other energies of the spectrum. The Indigo Tribe wields this power.
- Violet/Love: Signifies love and is wielded by the Star Sapphire Corps. Those capable of great love can tap into this energy, but it also possesses a parasitic nature.
Additionally, there are two colors outside the main spectrum:
- Black/Death: Represents death and the absence of emotion. The Black Lantern Corps, led by Nekron, seeks to extinguish all life in the universe.
- White/Life: The origin of the Emotional Spectrum. The white light of life has the power to resurrect the dead and create lasting constructs. It is connected to all living things.
- Invisible Spectrum: The Invisible Spectrum exists beyond the familiar Emotional Spectrum, encompassing Ultraviolet energy that draws power from deep-rooted primal emotions. It is among the seven secret forces hidden by the Source Wall. Acting as a counter-energy to the Emotional Spectrum, the Invisible Spectrum is wielded by the Ultraviolet Corps, guided by the entity known as Umbrax. There is also an Invisible Spectrum, which includes Ultraviolet, a hidden force that feeds on buried primal emotions. The Ultraviolet Corps wields this energy.
The future Lanterns demonstrate that the Emotional Spectrum is not rigidly defined, and the twins bring a fresh perspective to their mothers' powers, expanding the possibilities of what can be achieved with emotional energies.
Flight: Jason has the ability to fly, allowing him to maneuver freely through the air.
Energy Transference: He can transfer energy from one source to another, either for defensive purposes or to empower himself or others.
Energy Construct Creation: Jason has the power to create solid constructs made of energy. These constructs can take various forms depending on his emotions and intentions.
Force Field: He can generate protective force fields that shield him and others from harm.
Energy Projection: Jason is capable of projecting energy blasts or beams, which he can use offensively against his enemies. Jennifer and Jason Allen are not even limited to the normal Green Lantern Corps powers, as they can tap into the abilities of the White Lantern and Black Lantern rings when necessary. These powers grant them control over life and death, allowing them to harness the energies associated with those aspects. Their unique connection to the emotional spectrum allows them to unleash their powers in extraordinary ways, with their emotions playing a significant role in the manifestation and utilization of their abilities.
